This modern house on Whidah Lane is cozy, yet spacious and is the ideal vacation home for the beachcomber and the nature lover with plenty of nearby beaches, ponds, bike path and nature for hiking and long walks.

The house is equipped with comfortable seating for 8, a business center with wireless DSL and a printer, DirecTV(living room and master), as well as books and games for the whole family. Outside is a patio with a gas grill, comfortable outdoor furniture and an enclosed shower. Beach chairs, and toys are also provided, for your use. The property is tucked off the road for peace and quiet, and has a large private yard to enjoy. This home is also pet friendly for most dogs.

There's a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, DVD/VCR, and window A/C in the living room and master bedroom. The fireplace is perfect for a cozy winter vacation!   • We visited this property in the late Fall when there were not many activities or people in the Eastham area of Cape Cod. Our main purpose for visiting was to get away with our dogs and play on the beach without many people around. We didn’t swim, but took long walks on the beach and we let the dogs play in the surf. Unfortunately, Arnold’s restaurant was already closed for the season, but there were several places to eat available by taking a short drive. Getting around on Route 6 is really easy in the Fall! No traffic! The house was great – just as described on the owner’s website. We dealt with the owner directly and they were very accommodating and were easy to communicate with. The house was very clean and well-taken care of – with no evidence that dogs had ever stayed there. There was plenty of room for 3 adults and our dogs (and we didn’t even use the upstairs). The neighborhood was very quiet – most of the houses were vacant, given the time of year. The yard is mostly fenced in (in the backyard) and level. The house is well-back from the road. It is a great yard for children or dogs. There is a large, low deck, too. The house was well-stocked with plenty of the necessary household items – dishes, pots and pans, spices, tea etc. About the only thing that we needed, but did not have, was Tupperware for leftovers. The house is nicely decorated and there are 2 TV’s with DirectTV and DVD/ VCR players. You bring your own bedding, towels, etc., and that is explained in the lease. We had plenty of heat and hot water. You are able to adjust the thermostat to heat the home to your own comfort level. There is even a lovely fireplace in the living room, which we used twice. There is a washer and dryer available in the basement, too. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at this house and with all communication with the property-owner.

    So glad you enjoyed the house! Tupperware is usually stocked in the kitchen. I was there 10/15 and there was tupperware although not as much as in the beginning of the season, so what was left must have been taken by tenants. I will have the cleaning service keep an eye on this for me.

  • Beyond Excellent! This home has everything and more for a vacation rental. It is immaculately clean, spacious and has a very modern feel, unlike the typical Cape Cod beach home rental. This is a classy home with much sophistication and style. So conveniently located on the Cape, between ‘PTown’ (Provincetown) and Hyannis, this is the perfect location. The property rental brokers/owners are flawless, easy to work and so accommodating. This home is ideal for 2 couples looking to get away or a family, because both floors have full bathrooms – again, an unusual feature for a Cape Cod rental. I will definitely be renting this property again and I highly recommend this rental home.
