The Sunshine Ridge Guest House is a 6,000 square foot, seven bedroom, four and a half bath beautiful log home, featured in the March 2001 issue of Log Home Design Ideas. It is located on 40 acres of conservation land, but is only a 10 minute drive to the town of Glenwood Springs and five miles from Sunlight Mountain Ski Resort.
The house features a gourmet kitchen, complete with six burner Viking stove, oversized Sub-zero refrigerator, granite countertops, and Spanish tile floors. The open area surrounding the kitchen has cherry flooring, cathedral log ceiling and a 23 foot high fireplace. There are glass doors leading from the dining area to a huge patio with spectacular views. There is also a large deck, looking out over a beautiful valley and the mountains beyond, which can be accessed from doors in the sunken living room, or from two upstairs bedrooms. The house was built in 2001. Extensive renovations were completed in December 2005. These include a new upper level master suite, a new lower level master suite, and a beautiful lower level recreation room. The house features wireless broadband and high speed cable internet access. The Sunshine Ridge Guest House is ideally located for an adventurous Colorado vacation. But once you arrive you may never want to leave! |
