  Tropical Paradise is exactly as described. It was the perfect place for the gathering of our families. The house, pool, yatch... are exactly as shown in the pictures. We enjoyed all the unique features and upgrades in the home. The bedrooms all provided privacy for each family and we appreciated the quality of linen and beds. We & the 5 children age 1 to 4 enjoyed the pool & hot tub from morning to night. The updated kitchen was provisioned nicely to serve our large group (5 families). Clean home, lots of space, GREAT POOL, GREAT CRUISE and thanks to the friendly owners Mitch & Sue.

  My husband and I decided that we wanted to get married in Florida. Our wedding party stayed with us in this house the week of the wedding and it was perfect for our group. Everything was clean and fully stocked with almost everything you could need when staying in a rental. We had out reception at the house as well and the yard was not only beautiful, but plenty of space for the occasion. All our guests commented on how perfect the house was and the people staying with us very much enjoyed the pool. Sue and MItch are amazing renters that were always available and accommodating. The complementary yacht ride was definitely something our wedding party will always remember. We would absolutely recommend this house for a group. If we decided to visit Ft. Lauderdale again we can guarantee we will choose to stay here again!

  Eight of us had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home. Sue and Mitch could not have been more gracious. The house was fabulous; the time magnificent. Our family has rented places throughout the world and this house was one of the best. I will be happy to answer any inquiries re: references.

  Top notch we were greeted at the door and given a complete tour of the home by the owners who are the nicest people you will ever want to meet, the home is so nice I didn't want to leave. My family is already thinking about the next stay here.

  We were a family of 6 adults and two small children renting this amazing property for two weeks. The entire house is absolutely stunning....but the backyard simply takes your breath away. There is more than enough room for a large group, complete with two bathrooms that have poolside access making it easy for changes etc. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather so we ate every meal outside. The heated pool and hot tub were a bonus with everyone in our group. The large kitchen was well set-up to have two or more cooks "doing their thing". We loved the extra fridge space consisting of two pull-out refrigerated drawers in the island. But the highlight of our trip was definitely the amazing cruise than Mitch and Sue took us on. I was a little concerned about the length of this cruise since we had very small children, but no need to worry since Mitch's boat is even better equipped than his house. There was a bedroom and two bathrooms which we could use to put the little ones down. They very both for knowlegeable about the whole downtown Fort Lauderdale area, and then we docked and dined at a restaurant and completed our cruise at night with all the sights now lit up on our way home. It was breathtaking. Mitch and Sue answered all of my questions and concerns through the entire booking and renting process...and to top it off they gave me my damage deposit right on departure...first time ever this has happened to us. We truly enjoyed Fort LAuderdale and definitely plan on returning next year

  Sue picked us up at the airport and brought us to her lovely home. We loved the ambience of their sun filled beautiful home(with a great cooks kitchen). Mitch took our group on a great boat tour that was a blast. He proved to be expert in all aspects of the Fort lauderdale waterways and proved his great customer focus when he went out after midnight to get a corkscrew. What a guy! The month we stayed was a home away from home, we nestled well would recommend a week or longer stay for everyone. You will enjoy your stay Rich&Amy

  The description and pictures don't do this place justice. IT WAS MAGNIFICENT!!! First off the home was located close to shopping, beaches, and the main highway. It was immaculate, the pool was awesome, and the jaccuzzi was extremely relaxing. The kitchen was abundantly stocked with dishes, cups, glasses, utensils and we had enough pots and pans to make a feast, which we did. The home was spacious enough to accommodate all 15 of us comfortably plus some in state family members who came to visit for my dad's birthday. WE had a big BBQ. When the kids weren't in the pool they were having fun playing the 2 pianos and the conga drums. We had planned a weeks worth of activities outside of the home but we ended up never wanting to leave the house and only made one trip to southbeach to visit Mangos. We didn't stay very long because all we wanted to do was come back to the pool. One of the greatest parts of our vacation was the trip on the yacht. We didn't get to ride on the owner's boat but that didn't stop them from going above and beyond. They fixed up a friend's boat to the T and took us out for a breathtaking trip on the canal. We saw so many million dollar mansions, stopped and swam, and docked for a bite to eat at a seafood place. It was great! Anf if you forget anyting don't worry, they will probably have it at the house. Overall this was the best vacation we have had in about 10 years.

  Owner response: We had our yacht in drydock having the botttom painted so we decided to fix up a friend of ours' yacht so that we could provide as promised a 'Complimentary Cruise'. Our friend was very happy as we paid for all his repairs and updating on his yacht. We try hard to bend over backwards and make our guests happy.

  We just returned from this tropical paradise last night. It was so amazing that we booked it again for next year before we left. We stayed for a week with 7 adults and 3 young children. The home is perfect for families. It is upscale and elegant, yet inviting. We spent most of our time out in the pool area. It was SO relaxing (much more so than the hotels we are accustomed to). We relaxed and lounged in the pool while listening to the backyard waterfall and the music from the outdoor speakers. The home has a subzero fridge, which keeps the beer ICE cold! The pictures make it seem like the canal is a lot closer to the pool, which was a concern for us with our young kids. However, there was a large grassy area between the two. Now for the amenities...the living room has a HUGE HD television with surround sound. If you move one of the patio tables, you can sit in the hot tub at night and watch the TV through the glass doors and hear it through the outdoor speakers. There is a piano and a keyboard that we enjoyed. The kitchen is a cook's dream. There are a ton of spices and basic ingredients that you don't find in other home rentals (The owners are great at not throwing away non-perishables from previous guests, like sugar, flour, ketchup, jelly, etc). Each bathroom had shampoo, a bar of soap, and enough toilet paper for the week. They have a 10 passenger van available for a very reasonable weekly rate. We saved several hundred dollars by using that instead of renting through a rental company. There is a Winn Dixie about 1.5 miles away, and the house has a discount card which saved us a lot, including $2.08 per gallon of gas since we purchased so much groceries there. With the home rental, you receive an afternoon cruise on the 52' motor yacht. That alone would have cost upwards of a thousand dollars. Our cruise was unbelievable. We anchored down for a refreshing swim, then stopped at a waterfront restaurant for a delicious (and reasonably priced) dinner. The owners, Mitch and Sue, are amazing! They made themselves available at all times for questions about the home. They are very willing to work with you for special requests, too. I spent about 2 months trying to find the perfect place for our family's vacation. I contacted about 20 different brokers and decided on this home. It exceeded my expectations by far. If you book it, you will not be disappointed!

  This sommer we spent a wonderful week in ft.lauderdale; we have been a party of 4 adults and 6 children (8-14). We booked the house via the internet and got immediately very friendly response from the owners (Mitch and Sue). They provided a lot of information and offered an additional trip with the owner´s boat. We can honestly recommend this house, it was clean, comfortable and offered a lot of very nice features. The house is big enough for 10 people, the kitchen is very good and the pool includes a nice waterfall. The house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, but you can easily access the highway. What we found very remarkable is that Mitch and Sue were reachable for us, whenever we needed something. They were extremely friendly and helpful. A real highlight was the trip with the boat, when you go to Ft Lauderdale you should see it by boat, it is so nice! When we would go to Ft Lauderdale again, we would immediately call Mitch to stay again in his house. Kurt, Karl and Families (Austria/Europe)
