We just got back from our four night stay with two adults and two teenagers. The condo was spacious with nice high ceilings. Very clean with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. Quiet neighborhood with a bohemian feel. Magazine street right around the corner with tons of shops, restaurants and bars. We rented a car rather than rely on the rather slow (albeit charming) St. Charles Street Car. This is the first time we rented a car in New Orleans and I really feel this added a lot of convenience to our trip. We were able to zip around to all the places we wanted to visit without having to wait on public transportation including the French Quarter, the zoo, one of the plantations on River Road, a cemetery tour and multiple trips to restaurants and the Whole Foods on Magazine. Food is wonderful as always. Casamentos is right on Magazine and great for a cheap seafood lunch. Cochon totally lives up to the hype. And I confirmed once again that muffeletas are the most delish sandwich on the planet. NOLA was tons of fun as always! Michael the owner was very nice and easy to work with. He has tons of personalized NOLA info collected in a binder kept in the condo.

Six of us stayed here and all of us plan on coming back. The photos in the ad are very accurate, so you know what you're getting when you are shopping around in vrbo. Michael was very helpful throughout the process and provided a lot of useful information not only on the house but also on nearby restaurants and shops as well as travel information in the city during a busy festival weekend. Very clean place, fully stocked kitchen, even the little decorations were appreciated. We use vrbo.com all over the world and this place proved to be the best so far.
Owner response:Thank You, Ken! Great meeting y'all...Look forward to seeing you again next year!

My sis pretty much summed it all up in her review, but I still had to write something! This was my 2nd time in N.O. and it was even better than the first time. The condo really is perfect. My favourite part of the trip was strolling up and down Magazine St, stopping at various pubs and bars along the way to make sure we didn't get dehydrated during our adventures! :o) The Irish Channel is a cool place, we enjoyed having a drink in front of Tracey's and people-watching. We had a great time chatting with some of the locals - look out for Frank and his dog Leroy! Juan's Flying Burrito is ridiculously good, not to be missed (sit in the back patio if you can)!! I can't think of enough wonderful things to say about Michael's hospitality, the beautiful house, and New Orleans in general. There is something for everyone in this magical city!! Counting the days until I come back... Missing it terribly!!

I did not stay in the property shown, but in the condo at the back of the building, with the entrance on Camp Street. It has three bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bath, with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The owner will furnish you pictures upon request, and I can assure you the condo looks exactly like the pictures furnished. The condo was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The owner was super nice and made sure that we were enjoying our stay. He knew that we were arriving in New Orleans early, and he went out of his way to make sure that the condo was available three hours early. I have no doubt that if we had had a problem during our stay, he would have responded immediately. The location is just a block from Magazine Street and a few blocks' walk to St Charles and the trolley. The neighborhood is very quiet and residential. We appreciated very much the included secure wireless internet service. One thing bears mentioning: if you are staying in the Camp Street condo, you have to negotiate a very steep and narrow flight of stairs to get up to it, and another flight of stairs to two of the bedrooms. It was fine for us, but if you have any mobility issues, like an arthritic knee or something, you will want to stay in his downstairs condo as shown. Also, two smaller suitcases would be easier to negotiate on the stairs than one large one. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in the Garden District.
Owner response:Thanks so much, Jill…I enjoyed talking w/you on arrival. I’m always glad to discuss the layout of the Condo (or answer any questions) to make sure the Condo is a good fit for guests during their visit. Cheers!

This condo is located in a great spot if you want the action of the French Quarter nearby but not be in the thick of it. Walking around the Garden District and on Magazine Street are great and convenient. The condition of the condo itself is nice and clean. The dining room turned into a bedroom that has to be walked through to get to the kitchen is a bit odd, but worked for our group - 2 couples with kids. The beds and furniture were comfortable. If you are looking for someplace to enjoy the outdoors, it won't be at the condo. The 2 porches are ok, but the furniture is lacking and the view - well not so great. But the rest makes up for these few short comings. The owner is super friendly and offered a lot of information about the neighborhood and NOLA that personalized the experience for us. We appreciated his recommendation for shops and restaurants. Juan's on Magazine St and the Upperline Restaurant on Upperline were particularly good and very different from each other. I'd recommend the condo and it's location.
Owner response:I really appreciate your comments and would just like to address a couple of items above. The layout of this Condo is quite normal for the way most 100 yr-old houses are set up in New Orleans. Offering 3 bedrooms allows families and larger groups to stay together at one location at reasonable rates. Since I frequent the property, I see most of my guests enjoying my porches and balconies when our weather is mild and many have also commented on this in my reviews. I do provide 6 chairs on the front balcony as well as some on the front porch. I provide many photos of my area and detailed Condo info docs w/all my email rate inquiries (as you also mentioned), which clearly shows my location as eclectic (w/newly renovated properties all around us). Also wanted to share your email to me after departure: "Greetings Michael, Your condo was perfect for our visit to New Orleans. Great location and easy to get to and from many places we wanted to visit. We only used the car one time while we were there- to get groceries. Thanks again!" So glad you enjoyed your visit…My goal is always to provide my guests with comfortable, home-like lodging that will enhance your stay in New Orleans. Cheers!

I can't think of enough wonderful things to say about our stay in New Orleans, this house was just the icing on the cake! The condo was even nicer than the photos, it was beautifully decorated while still being extremely comfortable and we were just amazed by all the thoughtful little details (thank you so much Michael!) It's located in a fantastic neighborhood, only a few blocks from lots of shops and amazing restaurants; we spent hours just wandering down Magazine Street and sitting on various patios enjoying the view and the incredibly friendly and welcoming people. Michael is the quintessential host - he really did think of everything and was extremely accessible, kind and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again and look forward to returning again soon...we loved every single minute of our stay!
Owner response:Thanks so much, Lisa…It was really fun joining y’all on the porch the other day and was so glad to hear you enjoyed your visit at the Condo and New Orleans. Hope to see y’all again.

We had a great experience. Michael was very accommodating and flexible and the condo was very clean and roomy. Although there is only one bathroom, we were able to make it work just fine for all of our guests. The condo is super close to so many different amenities and would absolutely rent from property manager again.

This apartment was everything that was promised plus more. We stayed with two adults and two kids (ages 8 and 11). We had more than enough room and the place was very quiet and clean. The location was perfect for us because we could walk to so many fun places for the kids on Magazine street and also could easily get to the trolley. The owner was extremely responsive and helped us with all the logistics of parking and getting to the St. Patrick's day parade.

Without a doubt, I would stay in this condo again when visiting NOLA. The place was clean, spacious, full of character, and located in an idea neighbor with transportation only blocks away. There was even chickory coffee for us--such a nice touch! Michael is a consummate host, arriving to greet us late in the evening and being available if we needed anything. Don't waste your money on a hotel room if this place is available!

Convenient to St. Charles Avenue street car and Magazine Street, where there are many restaurants, shops to enjoy, etc. Easy to get to downtown New Orleans. Beautifully decorated, large bathroom, very clean and well kept. Highly recommend.

This was our family's first trip to New Orleans. We were traveling with our two children, 17 and 22 years old, and my sister (five in all). We stayed nearly a week in the Garden District Condo. It met or exceeded our expectations. We loved our accommodations, which were charming and tidy. The owner was great to work with and very hospitable. Michael provided useful resources, both prior to (via e-mail) and during (via a notebook) our visit. His tips greatly enhanced our experience. During our stay, we had a minor problem accessing wi-fi, and he promptly responded and followed up to make sure it was resolved. He made us feel welcome, though we never actually met. The neighborhood and location were excellent--not too busy, but close too the action. We spent a good deal of our time in the French Quarter and Marigny, which were fairly convenient. Off-street parking at the condo was a bonus, and we frequently left our rental car. We strolled to Magazine Street for breakfast (fun and funky "Slim Goodies," per Michael's recommendation, provided my favorite meal of the trip), or coffee at Mojo's; we browsed the shops along the avenue. We also appreciated the proximity to trolley service, just a few blocks walk from the condo. The kitchen and dining area in our condo were a bit minimalist, but fine for light fare--which is all we needed with the many great cafes and restaurants to sample. The laundry facilities came in handy. Although we shared a single bathroom, it was roomy and nicely appointed. With a second-story entrance and a loft, visitors must be willing to cope with stairs. All in all, the place was well equipped, and we all agreed it was a very good value. We found New Orleans to be a superb city, very warm and welcoming and fun. We anxiously look forward to our next visit, and we would undoubtedly look first to one of Michael's rentals.

This condo is wonderful. It was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable. There are extra towels and bedding. It is quiet and cozy while being only a short block from great restaurants, boutiques, coffee and antique shops. We walked or took the streetcar everywhere including downtown and the French Quarter. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very clean and well appointed. Pleasant artwork and furnishings adorn the interior. The location could not be any better for a stay in New Orleans. The lower garden district is safe and quite with plenty of things to do nearby. Close to the French Quarter and within walking distance to shops and bars on Magazine as well as St Charles. The owner is very professional and courteous. I will definitely book again on future trips.

I found this wonderful rental through VRBO. My friends and I take an annual guys trip to a Bears game some place warm. This year it was New Orleans. We were lucky to find this house. The house is located in a beautiful district and very short 5-7 ride to Bourbon street area. The house accomodate our party very well. It was clean and well kept. I would and will definitely recommend this house in particular to any travelers. The owner met and exceeded our needs without any hestiation. Great place to stay as the best alternate to staying downtown. If you are looking to be in the middle of everything that goes on down on Bourbon street this is not the place for you, however if you are looking for a place that feels like home and clsoe enought to everything then your search is over. I promise you will not be disappointed. Don't take my word for it, read the other reviews and see the similiarities. Safe travels futire travelers. Mike again thanks for everything.

I recently spent 2 weeks in Michaels condo to celebrate my 40th b-day. I had a variety of friends and family join me at different times over the 2 weeks and all of us were very pleased. Not only was it in a safe neighborhood/good location, it was extremely convenient to anything we needed and/or wanted. It was just a block away from very good restaurants and shopping, a few blocks from nice walking tours in the Garden District and about 5 blocks to the streetcar to take you Uptown or to the French Quarter. The full kitchen was a huge plus when we just felt like staying home for a meal instead of going out. There was also a BBQ so we could bbq some fresh shrimp from one of the local markets. We had a really great time, it felt like a home away from home and I will definitely recommend staying here.

My sons and I booked the second and third floor condo for the Final Four. For three guys, the place was great. The stairs would pose a problem for older visitors and small children and the one bathroom required scheduling, but we found it quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, but we only made coffee for the week we stayed here-- too many great places to eat close to the condo-- Juan's, Stein's and Surrey are excellent and within five blocks. Tracey's and Parasol are about six blocks away and Commander's Palace is only eight blocks. Zara's grocery store is four blocks and they stock liquor, beer and wine as will as groceries. Magazine Street is one block south and the airconditioned buses runs to and from downtown about every twenty minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and the locals are friendly, so we felt comfortable walking everywhere. The trolley on St. Charles is only five blocks north and it can carry you to the Quarter or all the way Uptown to Riverbend. Get a Jazzy pass for three dollars a day and ride the bus/trolley everywhere! Michael maybe the best part of the package-- professional and easy to work with-- He answers emails promptly and checks often to make sure the property is clean and well- maintained. I would book again in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay here. The condo is lovely--clean, full of character, and comfortable. There was ample information provided in the house about ways to enjoy the city and the neighborhood: how to get around, good places to eat, things to do, etc. And best of all, the owner was the most responsive and helpful I've worked with off VRBO.com. I very much hope to visit again!

This immaculate apartment made a perfect home base in the center of New Orleans. We were always able to park on the street and the central location made it a breeze for us to go from the French Quarter to the end of St. Charles everyday. The owner thought of everything and you need only bring your groceries and luggage into the apartment when you arrive. After spending time on the balcony and in the comfortable beds, you will not want to leave. We have rented many apartments in many countries and this was among the best.

My husband and I, along with two other couples, recently spent the weekend at Michael's Garden District condo. The condo and location were perfect! Everything was as listed. We enjoyed breakfast on Magazine Street and caught the street car, which is only a short distance from the condo, to the French Quarter during the afternoons. We took a cab back at night, which averaged to be about 12 dollars (not bad at all, especially when split). Michael's suggestions were greatly appreciated. We had a late lunch at Juan's Flying Burrito when we got in on Friday. It was great and very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed walking on Magazine Street and checking out the different shops, restaurants and bars. All of us agreed that we would love to stay in this condo again!

The beds we're comfortable, room were well appointed and comfortable, light and airy!. The location was central to most things and the neighborhood was very quiet. A short walk to the garden district and all of the beautiful homes, nice to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The kitchen was set up for cook'in which helped save money on breakfast and late lunches! Washer and dryer were handy as we packed light! Michael was very gracious and accommodating! This is an excellent place for a weekend getaway. The location is excellent and easy to get to. We took the train down for the weekend with two other couples. It was a short and inexpensive cab ride from the train station as well as to and from the French Quarter. There are many places to eat and shop just around the corner located on Magazine Street. You also have access to the Street Car on St. Charles. We felt like the price for the accomodations was fantastic. The place was neat and clean. Michael was very helpful and accomodating. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again and highly recommend this gem in a great location!

What a lovely condo--and so convenient to everything the city has to offer. Michael has prepared for every possible scenario, from those just using the condo as a 'jumping-off place' to those who want to prepare meals and have a place to relax and enjoy those meals. Just a few blocks from the streetcar line, this condo is perfectly situated for the traveler who doesn't want to navigate a strange city. We enjoyed discovering Magazine Street and could have made a whole trip out of that alone. The condo is spacious and has been thoughtfully stocked with all essential supplies. Michael is ready and able to help with anything his guests might need. Overall, it was the perfect place for our family to stay. If visiting again, we would absolutely stay here.

The condo is in a fantastic location-- just a block from one of the more interesting blocks of Magazine street, with good walkable dining locations and some noteworthy shops-- and dining locations with vegetables, and vegetarian options, which are not always easy to find in NOLA. The apartment was impeccably clean, and the broad porch was a wonderful place to stretch out and feel like we were part of the neighborhood. It was easy to walk the expanse of St. Charles, and the owner's provided guidebook was very helpful. The kitchen was well-stocked, the location was unbeatable, the neighborhood quiet at night, and I highly recommend it.

We fell in love with the condo as soon as we arrived! It was very clean and spacious. We are a family of six and not one of the kids complained about being crowded. All the kids had their own beds and were very happy. The yard was well maintained at all times. The condo was in a good location. We walked 4 blocks to St. Charles Ave. to see the Mardi Gras parades. We didnt have to worry about parking and the neighborhood was safe. The condo was close to restaurants (VooDoo BBQ was great), Walmart, Shopping, and the French Quarter. This is definitely the place to stay if you want to enjoy the French Quarter, but also have some peace and quiet at night. Michael was so nice and helpful and always available if there were any problems. We were skeptical at first. The pictures and description were great and the price was even better, but we were still worried about the condition of the condo. All that changed when we arrived. It was exactly as described and the pictures were definitely accurate. We will certainly call Michael again next year!! Thanks again Michael, we had a great time in New Orleans!! See you next year!!

We were 3 adults with an 18 month old and stayed here in Feb. It was a nice place with a great location. Walkable to the street car. However, the heating was a bit hard to adjust. One room was much more hotter than the other, we finally changed the vents to have it more evenly distributed. My other complaint was that there was really noisy birds chirping at 5am and it would wake my baby up, can't blame the owner for this but I wanted to comment on this. The owner was really responsive and was nice to deal with. The other thing is that 1 bathroom was hard to share amongst so many people.
Owner response:Thank you for your review, Elmira. I was surprised that it is the end of August and you stayed with me in early Feb. and I was not aware of any unfavorable situations during your stay until now. My cell phone is always an immediate contact to me during your visit and I am quick to respond to any and all guest requests (as you nicely mentioned and also referenced within my many reviews below). Heat/Air vents occasionally get moved by previous guests and sometimes may need to be adjusted to your preference. Sorry about the birds. I personally manage all my properties specifically so I can be available to my guests, if needed. My goal is always to provide you with comfortable, home-like lodging that will enhance your stay in New Orleans. Cheers!

Many thanks for a very memorable birthday weekend in New Orleans. The property was exactly as described on the VRBO site. My husband and I and our 2 best friends have traveled together many times before. We all agreed that this will be our place to stay in New Orleans every time we come back. Michael communicates to his guest and has every thing you need for a great stay. (request for a small hair dryer). The location is perfect. We parked the car in the safe driveway and never had to use the whole weekend. You are just minutes from Magazine street or the St.Charles cable cars. The neighborhood is very quiet so we got the rest we needed after very busy days wandering the beautiful streets of the garden district. Thank you again for the oppertunity to stay in this lovely home.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Michael's condo. We were very impressed with the quality of the accomodations and how well the condo was furnished. It looked exactly like the photos...lots of space, well-proportioned rooms, great beds and a comfortable living room. The condo definitely reflected excellent taste and maintenance. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, along with cutlery for those who cook or even do a little cooking. It was so helpful to have on hand so many things, ranging from spices to kitchen garbage bags. The kitchen also came with a wonderful gas range, dish washer and hugh refrigerator. Having a washing machine and dryer on the premises was an added bonus. Clearly, the condo had all the amenities of home! Although we had a car, we also did a lot of walking, particuarly along Magazine Street, browsing in antique shops, eating at various restaurants and of course, one of our favorite past-times, going to Whole Foods. Two restaurants we visited and enjoyed eating at were Salu and Maya Fusion, both on Magazine Street. Michael also provided a really useful, informative and entertaining book guide not only about the surrounding neighborhood but about New Orleans in general. Overall, Michael was a great help --- even in letting us know when to put out the garbage for pick-up! I definitely recommend this place highly!

I took my family to New Orleans to celebrate Christmas this year and, thanks to Micheal, we had the most wonderful time ever! The condo is beautiful and in a great location. We didn't have a car the whole time we were there and was able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The street car is very close and the area is amazing! I felt very safe my entire stay. Micheal is wonderful to work with - he was always there to answer any question that I had and was great all the way around! I would highly suggest this condo - or any others that he owns. We will be planning another trip in the very near future and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

We found the condo to be exactly as advertised - well maintained, clean & spacious. The owner called to check on us the next day after our arrival, which was thoughtful & professional. The weather in New Orleans during November is extremely changeable, so we had an opportunity to use both AC and heat and both worked well. One thing to be aware of if you plan to stay - there is only one bathroom. However, there was plenty of hot water. I didn't investigate, but maybe the place has a tankless water heater, which would be smart. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware, and the basics, like coffee, creamer, salt, etc. The location is great - walking along Magazine street is always fun as there are plenty of places to eat nearby, and lots of fun shops to visit as well. A bonus is having off-street parking. The streets are lined with cars because very few places in the area have off-street parking, so it is nothing to sneeze at. Speaking of bonuses, the Belladonna day spa is within walking distance, if you need a bit of pampering and rejuvenation. We would definitely stay in this condo again.

I just took my first trip to New Orleans and stayed in this fantastic house. It was spacious and very comfortable. The location was great as well, we were within walking distance of great restaurants, bars, and shops. I would definitely return and have already recommended this house to everyone I know.

Six of us stayed here this past weekend. It was very comfortable and was just minutes away from the French Quarter and pretty much anywhere we had wanted to go. It was also very nice to have offstreet parking available. It was also nice that the owners were available by cell if we had any questions or needed anything while we stayed. The house was great and we would stay there again!

I came to New Orleans with my family for my daughter's Tulane graduation. The accommodations were perfect for everything we needed. Friday evening we had friends over for dinner for a small celebration and Sat. afternoon after graduation we all took naps. It met each and every varied need! The location was perfect and close and/or convenient to everything that anyone would want to do in New Orleans. The pictures and description on VRBO were accurate and the host was perfect. He was always accessible and answered any and all questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Michael!

This was a great place to stay! The condo was impressively clean. The owner was able to accomodate our request to check in a couple of hours early even though he had guests who checked out the morning of our arrival. The location was great and it is such a pleasure to have off street parking in New Orleans. We walked to breakfast each day. Finally, the book of suggested places to eat, visit, and enjoy is the most thoughtful one we have ever seen. Our son lived in New Orleans for six years and agreed. Thanks for a great VRBO experience.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! I have been to New Orleans a handful of times but on this particular trip I visited with 3 friends who were new to the experience. I've always been fortunate to enjoy the city from a very "local" perspective as I have close friends who have lived in New Orleans their entire lives. There is so much more to New Orleans than Bourbon Street and I wanted my friends to see that too! This is a great place to stay for an authentic New Orleans vibe. It's always a treat to walk through the neighborhood streets and get lost in the ornate details and beautiful architecture of the city, to witness decades of history and tradition that continue to dominate trends, to roam along the oak lined, beaded streets of St. Charles and smell homemade gumbo wafting through the air, to hear the sound of the streetcar clanking in the background, and best of all, to greet and be greeted by a friendly smile and more often than not, an unexpected chat by locals out and about enjoying their city as well. Magazine street is a great spot for an afternoon walk and boasts a variety of antique and bohemian shops to roam through. On Magazine and Jackson you will find a delicious local sandwich shop! There is enough on Magazine St. to keep you busy all day. It's a long walk but you will find great eateries, coffee shops, and even bars for the later hours and it has a fresh and vibrant feel to it. The streetcar is short stroll away but on busy occasions you may be waiting a while. It's just a short ride to The French Quarter where tons of fun is waiting to be had.The Condo itself is tastefully decorated and very comfortable and spacious. It was very clean and well tended to and we had no issues whatsoever with checking in or checking out. In fact, the owner was even nice enough to let us in sooner and out later (though this changes based on availability of course). We especially loved the balcony from the upstairs bedroom where we could enjoy the mild nights and kick our feet up after a long day in the French Quarter. The owner was easily accessible, very helpful, and even sent some highlights of the city our way long before our arrival. The condo has a very thorough booklet of any kind of recommendations or contacts you may want or need for your stay. One bathroom can be tough depending on the number of guests. But there is so much to do and see around here. Get out and enjoy ALL that New Orleans has to offer! We hope to be back soon!

We returned for our 4th visit to NOLA since Katrina. What a great city. We came as 3 couples, and found this property to be a great place to stay for our 2 week visit. It is very comfortable, nicely appointed, clean, and well-maintained. It is in a very convenient location. Lots of shops and restaurants one block away on funky Magazine Street. The St. Charles streetcar is charming, inexpensive, and convenient to downtown. I don't know how to put it, but the location is also a "real" New Orleans neighborhood, not a tourist enclave. If you've been to NOLA, you'll know what I mean. If not, I guarantee you'll enjoy a stay here way more than a stay on or around Bourbon Street. The unit comfortably accommodates 3 couples, and would handle an additional 2 persons in the downstairs bedroom. The single upstairs bathroom was a minor bottleneck at times, but no big deal. The downstairs bedroom is between the living room and the kitchen, so we had to make sure to put the earliest risers in our group on there, to avoid waking them when we started the morning coffee. The only accoutrement I missed was a blender in the kitchen. The owner is exceedingly welcoming, professional, and communicative. He put lots of care into the property and his guests' comfort. The entire process from inquiry to return of security deposit was smooth and pleasant.

The house was fantastic (better than advertised), and we had an incredible time in New Orleans. Even more, when out group came down with food poisoning the last night of our trip, Michael figured out a way to let us stay an extra night so we could rest and heal - it was incredible. If you have any doubts about this home, drop them and book it right now.

The condo is superbly located in the garden district, just a block from Magazine Street. We found it clean and tidy when we arrived, and a nice combination of practicality an a few interesting furniture pieces. Beds were lovely, the only real limitation for larger groups is a single bathroom (hot water capaity is also limited for larger groups). We would stay here again - it was good value for money in a good part of town.

Thanks Michael for a great stay! We loved our time at the condo! We had 8 girls in the condo and were able to have a great vacation. The location was even better than I had expected. It was so central to everything! Thanks again for letting us know about the St. Patrick's Day Parade, it was definitely a highlight of our trip!

This lovely condo is highly recommended for both itself and its location. It is on the lower corner of a block that has Magazine Street on its north side, so there are many restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. We had planned to eat at The Flying Burrito because of several good reviews, and there it was right around the corner. Likewise for our favorite deli--Stein's. We walked to pick up great corned beef and all the fixings for sandwiches plus imported beers. We got there in time to see the St. Patrick's Day parade which went down Magazine St. The kids came back covered with beads and flowers. It is also easy walking distance to St. Charles Street and its streetcar to downtown and the Audubon Zoo. This was our second stay at this condo, and the owner is very helpful and prompt in communication. The condo is stylishly decorated but keeps the historical character of the house. We went with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren ages 10, 8 and 3, and the condo fitted us perfectly. The adults stayed in the upstairs bedrooms and the kids in a downstairs room that had a queen and two twin beds. The mattresses were very comfortable, the linens fresh and attractive, there were two televisions and wifi, and the owner has a marvelous book of places to go, directions, and local businesses. Off-street parking is also convenient. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, dishes, cooking utensils, and basic condiments on hand. The neighborhood has a safe feel--people were out walking dogs, jogging, and riding bikes. Between this trip and the last time we stayed at this condo, both the adults and kids have enjoyed the Children's Museum and the Audubon Zoo, Aquarium and IMAX movie, and we were delighted by the new Audubon Insectarium--who would have thought insects could be so exciting for all ages! All these places are easy driving from the condo though one could take the streetcar.

Loved this place!! There is so much room here for just about any size family. I didn't realize how important the off street parking would be...great amenity. I hope to return soon with my family and have more leisure time.

For our weekend getaway, our group of five stayed here. AWESOME apartment. Great location off Magazine street. No issues with hot water in the morning...even with five women taking showers. The apartment is nice and roomy. Plenty of towels and extra blankets are available. Fully equipped kitchen. In the morning, we grabbed bread and pastries from a local bakery on Magazine. This is THE place to stay. What a find!!! Thank you, Michael!

We all had an amazing time at your condo. All the furnishings in the condo made our stay very comfortable! We really enjoyed the bi-level thermostats as they were most helpful. And, most importantly the location! We were so close to the French Quarter, downtown, our start line for the race on Sunday, to Wal-Mart, and Magazine Street! We love St. Charles Avenue, too. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I thank you so much for your hospitality!!!! One of the BEST vacation rentals I have ever had in my travels!

I just wanted to say Thank You to Michael for providing a great and spacious place for us during our New Orleans visit. Even with a group of 6 people, the Condo was very comfortable and in a very central location to everything we wanted to do... Also, a great rate for my large group. Michael, the owner, was very helpful with answering all the questions I asked (since this was our first time visiting New Orleans). I will definitely be back and we will call again the next time we visit New Orleans. Thanks Again!
