If you enjoy boating, this property is unbeatable! There is a public boat ramp within a mile of the house and 350 miles of waterfront. The main Lake boating action begins about 500 feet west of the "maxi" dock. This offers a private and quiet place to water ski, jet ski, provision your boat for fishing, or supervise small children in the water. The water at the sea wall is 6" deep, and the hard Georgia sand/clay bottom slopes gently to a depth of 4 ft on the outside of the dock, gently sloping beyond. Pontoon Boats & PWC's are available for rent.

This property is also one mile from the newly approved 500 slip marina and 290 room 4 star hotel on Parks Mill Rd. By car, you are 13 minutes from the 5 star Ritz Carlton at Reynolds Plantation and 20 minutes to Cuscowilla. There are great golf courses all over, not to mention deer and an occasional arrowhead. With names like Stagecoach Road, Carey Station, and Parks Mill Ferry, how could you not feel a connection with history? This is Georgia at its finest!

  • I can't say enough about the wonderful time my family and I had during our stay at your home. We rented the home for my father's 86th birthday(9/26) and had other family members come down on Saturday for a full fledge Barbeque. The flat back yard, outside deck/porch, and benches near the lake were the perfect setting for everyone. There was plenty of room for all to spread out and enjoy each other while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. Once the extra family members left, the adults left took advantage of the hot tub. The home was warmly decorated which made you feel welcome. My father, even though he did not catch very many fish, truly enjoyed his time and looks forward to coming back. Thanks again for the opportunity and we look forward to coming again.

  • Wish I were still there! We rented the house over the summer for a long weekend to celebrate my daughter’s engagement with family and friends…and still receiving comments about the house, the setting and the lake. The house is well furnished, nicely landscaped, tastefully decorated, clean and very accommodating. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The large level back yard was great for the kids. The lake view from the house is absolutely gorgeous. The gentle slope in the lake made it comfortable for all ages. The open porch facing the water provided a great place to sit and relax as well as shelter from the few passing showers. The hot tub on the porch was a delight. We also rented one of the pontoon boats for our guests to enjoy…and enjoy they did. Hope to be back again soon!

  • My family enjoyed a long weekend at Lake Escape recently including a boat rental from the home owner which was wonderfully convenient and a great bargain compared to the marina rentals. The house was very comfortable for seven adults, the flat lot and close proximity to the water were great, and we couldn't resist the hot tub even though it was August! The house is a short drive from Atlanta, but felt like a world away - we wished we could have stayed longer. This was our first visit to Lake Oconee and Lake Escape's location is very quiet with little boat traffic. We enjoyed fishing and swimming from the dock as well as from the boat. Hope to make it back for a longer visit next time.

  • We had 3 couples stay 5 days and had a wonderful time! We rented the pontoon boat too which made it very convenient to not deal with another party. It's a very comfortable, lovely, roomy, home, including everything we needed. We cooked out every night and had dinner on the deck. This location is also very easy to find, not far from the interstate, and close to a marina. We'll be back!

  • STOP-DO NOT LOOK ANY MORE!!!! This is the perfect lake front property to stay. The arrangement of rooms ,kitchen, den,breakfast and porch with table for eating or hot tub is well designed. A nice lawn for kids to romp is a few feet from water. water is shallow next to bulk head for young swimners to play safetly. We are trying to decide on next year date for our family. The 12 year old ask if we could return next year 10 minutes after arriving.

  • I have only positive things to say about this property at Lake Oconee. We went for my father-in-law's 70th birthday and had a wonderful weekend. The house opens up nicely and was easily able to accommodate three families. The house is very up-to-date with everything you need. The location was excellent and very easy to get to and convenient to Publix and other shopping. The view was nice and the sunsets were beautiful. The boat ramp was right around the corner and the dock easily handled our two boats. We would definitely stay there again.

  • A++ accomodations!!! My family stayed at this location for 2 weeks over the summer, and I can honestly say it is one of the best Oconee spots in the area! The private dock provides excellent lake entry from a quiet cove as well as a semi-enclosed wading area between the dock and the shore for kids. The accomodations are both modern and comfortable, and the interior is much more open than you might expect from the exterior photos. Some other Oconee rentals are nice also, but you have to drive forever in order to get groceries or gas. This home is only about 10 minutes from the local Publix, fast food spots, posh restaurants, and gas stations. A major plus is that this home is truly just a minute or two from a park and boat ramp, so I was able to launch my ski boat very conveniently and even tie up to the home's private dock!! If you can work in an Oconee vacation, this is a great opportunity!!
