Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2007
We are a both sales consultants who live in the Atlanta area with our three year old son and newborn daughter.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Jackson
We have family who also live on Lake Jackson. We like to get down to visit them as often as possible, but with a growing family of our own, it became necessary to have our own place to stay when we are there.
The Unique Benefits of this House
It is just a beautiful and serene setting. The home is located on a cove, so even when the lake is really busy, our little cove always stays pretty quiet. But, it's nice to know we are just around the bend from all the action when we're ready to take the boat out!

6 couples traveled from the city to this wonderful house for NYE! Bedrooms, bathrooms, linens, etc were spacious and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to grill, cook, etc. The homeowner was very pleasant and quick to respond to all inquiries from beginning to end. Would HIGHLY recommend this property...rates and date flexibility were a huge plus. Thanks so much and we look forward to visiting your property again!

We rented this house twice over the summer. Each time was a fantastic experience. The house has plenty of room for a group, the kitchen is spacious, and the dock is nice and large. The beach is great for children, and the boat ramp at the Georgia Power beach down the street is so convenient if you are bringing your own boat or jet ski. We highly recommend this house for a great weekend at the lake! Macon, Georgia

We stayed at this property June of 2009. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. We didn't take advantage of the "grounds" or the lake. All of our activities were pre-planned and everything was in the city.(atlanta) The only thing that we were a bit surprised about was the fact that most property owners allow you to get back a portion of your deposit once you leave and everything is still in tact and no damage was done. If knowing that going in we probably would have still stayed but we would have hung around the house a little bit more. Overall the stay was wonderful and Crystal was very nice and helpful! TAB (an acroynm I used with her and she stated she had to steal it :-)

Perfect for a large family gathering of 16! Plenty of bedrooms - three on top level, master on main level and two on lower level for a total of 6, plus an additional pull out sofa on lower level. One of the upstairs bedrooms has plenty of beds for the kids-full with a bunk on top, a crib, and a full bed with a trundle! The kitchen was a great size with a table for 4 in the breakfast area plus seating at the bar, in addition to a very large table right off of the kitchen in the dining room. The furnishings were great! The house is truly lake front property with a dock where we fished and a small "beach" of its own where the kids enjoyed finding sea shells and digging in the sand. Less than 1/2 mile down the road is a larger public access beach that the kids also loved. The house is secluded enough without having to worry about disturbing the neighbors. The owner Crystal was a real pleasure to deal with - very helpful for all of our needs. We had plenty of towels, tissue paper, paper towels, bed linens, etc. for our weekend stay. This property does also have wireless internet, and we had perfect luck with it, although Crystal did say that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Thanks again Crystal!

My family of 20 people (ranging from ages 3 to 60)wanted an inexpensive great place as a family getaway, not far from the city. THIS PLACE WAS THE JACKPOT! I probably won't have enough room to describe how wonderful this place is! The house has 3 levels- 5 adult bedrooms (2 on top level, 1 on main level and 2 on lower level), 1 bedroom for the children (on top level) (which included a crib, a set of bunk beds, a full size bed and another pull out full size bed) and a pull-out sofa. The house has a breakfast area and a formal dining room area. The kitchen is a large open area. Some of the kitchen tools were limited, but the basic utensils were there. There is a large deck on the second level (main level) of the house. The master bedroom is simply breathtaking! It's a large room that opens to the deck on the 2nd level. It also has a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. The house was equipped with satellite tv and dvr player. The backyard opens up to the lake (truly a lakefront property). The beach (although small) is a 10 minute walk from the house. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the beach. The house was absolutely gorgeous! The house was fully stocked with all the basic needs-tissue, papertowels, extra towels, extra linen, etc. The house is located a good distance from the other houses, so it's very quiet! My family got up Saturday morning and went fishing right on the dock in the backyard! This place is a one stop shop! Once we arrived on Friday, we did not get in the car to travel anywhere until we departed on Monday. The backyard land is a little uneven, but it did not deter us from having relay races, frisbee toss, dodge ball and other outdoor activities! My only negative is that the owner is too modest in her description of the house! :) The place is 100x nicer than the description! Also bring your insect replellant, because you are near the lake. I would recommend this place to anyone with a meduim size to large size family. With 20 people all in the house at one time, there was enough space to move around and not feel like we were on top of each other. There was enough space for privacy as well. I would definitely give this place a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10!
