Why the Owner Chose Portland
I used to live in this beautiful bungalow and have since moved to a house with a bigger yard for our dog to play in. Portland is becoming such a popular city I thought I would take advantage of all the tourism coming into our city. It is so nice getting to communicate with and meet renters from all over the country and the world!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Portland has one of the highest rated public transit systems and it stops right outside your front door! Just hop on a bus or the light-rail (MAX) and your downtown before you know it. The MAX even goes to the airport! Our house is also conveniently located to many outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, and golf. Why stay in a stuffy hotel room when you can enjoy two bedrooms and a whole kitchen? Vacation rentals are perfect for families or people who would love to save money by eating at home.
A beautiful neighborhood park with play structure, running track, pool (in the summertime) and statues commemorating the characters of local author Beverly Cleary
Catch a number of buses and the Portland Light-rail system - MAX The MAX will take you downtown in just about 15 min and you can enjoy the sights of the city while you ride! www.trimet.org
The historic Hollywood Theatre, the namesake of the Hollywood District! www.hollywoodtheatre.org
Delicious German food and a wide selection of German and Local beers. They have a great Happy Hour!
A family friendly brew pub serving beer from the Laurelwood Brewing, Co. located right here in Portland!
The best Teriyaki chicken you'll ever have! An inexpensive grill serving up chicken, pork, or beef teriyaki with rice and salad. You can smell it almost 3 blocks away!
