There are one and a half baths, one full bath downstairs and a half bath in the loft. The cottage also has a double convertible bed. The kitchen is open to the living and dining rooms. A wood stove warms the whole house on those cool winter nights. Lots of windows from floor to ceiling lets you view the grand canal. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove and microwave. The dining room and kitchen are open to the living room. The views from any angle of this cottage are glorious. Sit and absorb all that Hood Canal has to offer.
Bring your kayak and glide through the pristine waters of Hood Canal viewing sea life, seals and eagles. If you like to hike this is a hiker’s paradise -- you will enjoy exploring the many trials of the Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park. Explore the beaches and try your hand at shellfishing. The chalet does not have beach access but the public beach is less than a half mile away. You can see if from the house.

Hood Canal is an easy commute from Seattle. You can be here in less than two hours either by ferry or drive around on scenic Highway 101.
