Our charming home away from home is ideally situated in the heart of downtown Charleston across the street from Colonial Lake and the tennis courts in Charleston's Historic District.

The townhouse is located near the Battery, the Ashley Marina, and is within walking distance of the Medical University of South Carolina. A short walk or pedi-cab ride away you will also find the Historic Market and the fabulous shopping of King Street. Enjoy Charleston's wonderful restaurants, antique shops, historic and ghost walking tours, horse drawn carriages, tours of historic homes, clubs, and the South Carolina Aquarium all nearby! Additionally you are just a short drive from five beaches, seven marinas, and more golf courses that I can recall.

The townhouse has recently been repainted and the hardwood floors have just been refinished. The unit offers two bedrooms, one and a half baths, living room, separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry room. Decorated in a relaxed island type theme this is the perfect place to call home for a long or short term stay in Charleston. The master bedroom is large with a walk-in closet and a queen sized bed. The second bedroom is cozy and has a day bed with trundle. The sofa is not a pull-out but many have attested to its comfort.

We offer our townhouse fully furnished, from down comforters and bedding from Peacock Alley to wine glasses and china from Pier One.

  • We were in Charleston years ago while I was a research fellow at MUSC. When we found this town house located on Ashley Avenue, near Colonial Lake; we were excited. We knew this location was great and very popular. When we came to the house we found everything just we had dreamed. We had stayed two months and enjoyed a lot. We recommend this house to every one coming to Charleston!

  • What a superbly charming house on Colonial Lake. Palmetto motive very fetching and fitting. The position is perfect for walking the whole town. Improv at theatre 99 to be recommended, plus all the garden & house tours available. Wireless in the house is most welcome. Perfect house, felt like home from home - hopefully available again.   • We enjoyed staying at the Colonial Lake Townhouse in Charleston. The location was excellent and the accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. We would recommend this town house to anyone wishing to see Charleston. Also there's a very pretty lake right across the street with a walking path around it, and public tennis courts right there as well.
