The ranch is just minutes away from Routt National Forest, the Mount Zirkel Wilderness, and Steamboat Lake State Park.
The Elk River, which runs through the property, is a rich habitat for wildlife. In the summer months you can make a few evening casts for trout while dinner is cooking; on a winter morning you may get to watch a herd of elk making for the trees as you sip your coffee by the fire.
