Next to the heiau is historic St. Peter's Church and next to the church is Kahalu'u Beach Park, home to one of the best snorkeling sites on the island and only a short stroll from the condo. Surfing lessons are available just 2 doors down the street from the complex.
Within 1 mile is Keauhou Shopping Center with shopping, salon, supermarket, natural foods grocery, Longs Drugs, restaurants and urgent care. Also close by are hotels with outstanding restaurants, entertainment and luaus.
Kona Country Club is just past the shopping center and offers 2 world class 18-hole golf courses and dining with a panoramic view of the coast, perfect for sunset watching. Nearby, Keauhou Bay offers diving/snorkeling excursions; fishing; catamaran and raft tours; kayak, canoe and surfboard rentals.
