This comfortable 1800 square foot Lake House, originally hand built in 1929, is conveniently located two miles south of Port Sanilac and eight miles North of Lexington. The house is located approximately 250 ft. from the main road with a row a mature pine trees blocking the traffic from view. This house is air conditioned and with the addition of city water, has everything you always wanted for a quiet, peaceful getaway for a week or weekend.
The master bedroom is large, with a king sized bed, and sitting area that has a beautiful view of the lake, passing boats, or sunrise. The master bedroom consumes half of the second story of the house but leaves room to include a full bath and a separate walk through hall room with a closet and futon.
The first floor of the house includes, wood floors, a full updated kitchen with utensils and appliances, a mobile island, a large dining table for eight, two cozy bedrooms with queen sized beds, one full bath and living room.
The living room features a large "L" shaped multi-function sectional, wood stove, large picture windows to view the lake, two recliners, a 55 inch rear projection TV, a DVD/VCR combo, video titles including kid friendly titles, a stocked board game cabinet, and a CD/MP3/I-Pod connectable stereo.
The private property is peacefully surrounded by cedar, black walnut and pine trees. Although the house has been renovated with modern amenities, it has not lost its elements of history. The house still retains a portion of its original cobble stone foundation and the property has a choice of an amazing cobble stone stairway or a natural gully lined with cedar trees, ferns, wild lilies and purple trilliums that gently lead to the beach.(Quit a spectacular view to see in full bloom!!!) The 100 feet of private beach has sand, followed by rounded cobble stones that lead into the water. So be sure to bring your water shoes if swimming is desired.
Other outdoor amenities include: a natural gas grill, a picnic table that seats eight and ten Adirondack chairs.
The central location of this property allows you to enjoy the convenience of only being ten minutes away from two separate Golf courses, Live theatrical entertainment (summer only), restaurants, parks, marinas and shopping all with that small town flair each located in Port Sanilac and Lexington.

WEEKLY ONLY, Memorial Day through the Month of September (Peak Season)
OFF SEASON = The months of May, October and November (Other months may be available upon request).
Peak Season Weekly Rate: $1330.
Off Season Weekly Rate: $1050.
Off Season Weekend Rate (Thu-Sun): $ 660.
All rates are subject to a $250 refundable security deposit.
50% of the total rent with the signed rental agreement is required to hold reservation; balance is due 30 days in advance of occupancy.
The Rent and Security Deposit shall be paid in the form of credit card, check or money order.
If a Tenant chooses to make a payment by Credit Card, please contact the Landlord. An invoice, WITHOUT a processing fee, will be sent via email through PayPal.
If a CANCELLATION IS NEEDED, A thirty (30) day cancellation notice is required prior to occupancy to receive a full refund; After 30 days, only 50% of the total rental fee will be refunded. The remaining 50% of the total rental fee, will be refunded in the form of a future reservation voucher. The future reservation voucher has no cash value but can be applied for a one time discount, of its face value, on a future reservation within 1 year of the date of issue.
Week reservation, check-in is 4:00 pm Sunday; check-out is 11:00 am Sunday.
Weekend reservation, check-in is 4:00 pm Thursday; check-out is 11:00 am Sunday.
