Leavenworth's climate offers four amazingly full seasons - snowy winters, fragrant springs, mild summers and colorful crisp falls - and more sunshine than any one area should be entitled to. It is home to a variety of beautiful lakes and rivers including: Lake Wenatchee, Fish Lake, the Wenatchee River, White River, Chiwawa River, Nason Creek and Icicle Creek.
This home away from home features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a custom kitchen with a Jenn Air range, large windows, a dining area that will accommodate 9 and an open floor plan. Great room boasts lots of bright windows, an inviting couch that makes you curl up and feel good inside and a flat screen TV that allows you to stay connected to the world (if you choose to).
The second story holds all of the soft places to land, after an exciting day of adventures. The first rustic bedroom has a king size bed, while the second is fit for a queen. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. One is a twin/twin and the other is a twin/queen. This house will accommodate a couple of families, or 3 couples who want to spend time together, but still need their own private space.
This home is located in the Ponderosa neighborhood. There is a neighborhood playground, walking trails and a sledding hill in the winter, just a short walk away. The Plain Hardware store and Plain Grocery is just 3 minutes away. Downtown Leavenworth is just 13 miles away.

This is an amazing part of the country where you can drive a few miles to a ski hill, a beautiful town full of adventures or a big city with a Costco. But, if you choose to stay right at the cabin, you can rest in a peaceful setting that is like no other place in Washington. We love the Black Forest Lodge, for it is a special place to spend time with our family.

We had a great time and a very enjoyable stay. The accommodations were wonderful. We also used the grill every night so the tank could be low. We arrived after dark on Saturday due to being held up in Minneapolis-St. Paul airport due to the President being there. The lock box was a bit of a trick in the dark. We did have a great time at your home. Thanks so much for coordinating so quickly last week! Your place is so wonderful and it was such a nice treat to have so many kid things there. The highchair, pack and play and games were wonderful to have around. Oh, and my 18 month old daughter was obsessed with the cuckoo clock. That was a big hit! What a nice little community over there! We spent a lot of time at the park and also on the sandy beach down at the river. Thanks for letting me know about the chairs in the shed - we took those with us to the beach as you suggested and it worked out well, especially since one of our friends is on crutches. Anyways, we had a fantastic time and thank you again for letting us rent your place! Julie

We had a wonderful time and you have a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it. It's so clean, organized and cozy....it was perfect for my family and I. We cooked and ate entirely too much and spent our days tubing down the river for hours. It was a nice and relaxing time for us. I loved that I didn't have cell phone reception!!!! We had a great time! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed (and then some!) Our kids had a blast and loved the bunk bed room. You guys have done a great job and really have thought of everything to make a family feel like it's a "home away from home". We really appreciate you allowing us to come and stay on such short notice. I was especially pleased with how clean the house was. We will definitely refer our family and friends if they ever are in need of a place to stay in the area. Once again, thank you.

Wow Ann, Your place is so lovely! We really enjoyed ourselves and were surprised by how nice the accommodations were. We especially liked how the table folded out and that you had extra chairs so that all 8 of us could sit around to play games and eat dinner together. All the beds were very comfortable. You had nice dishes, fun pictures on the walls, and very comfortable beds and furniture. We love your place. We also liked the storage shed’s name – Belly Acres! Ha! Ha! Ha! Thank you very, very, much. We would like very much to visit again.
