Villa Dona is on the grounds of a lovely unique small, private beach front, gated, guarded community, Punta Pelicanos, 14 miles and 20 minutes North of the airport, 30 minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta. This bright, spacious, three bedroom villa is fronted by a broad, coconut palm studded lawn flowing onto a wide, sandy beach with excellent, safe swimming, free from undercurrents. Light surfing is often. possible Comfortable beach chairs & teak tables and furniture surround pool and beach. The Villa faces a large, infinity pool with two hot tubs at the edge of the beach, overlooking the spectacular curve of the Bay of Banderas.
Nearby on the lush , tropical landscaped grounds are acres of green grass with two additional pools and hot tubs. A five minute walk north along the beach brings you to a lovely new marina, where a variety of boat activities and excursions are available. Adjacent to the marina is the charming, picturesque fishing village of La Cruz, with a variety of restaurants and night life. A five minute walk to the south is Hidden Villa Restaurant, noted for its spectacular cliff-side dining patio and its protected beach lagoon for peaceful swimming. Several beautiful Golf Courses are within a short drive.A 25' drive to the North is the charming beach town of Sayulita, very popular with surfers.
Punta Pelicanos is considered a highly desirable, upper end and secure community where the Governors of of the states of both Nayarit & Jalisco have chosen to have residences.
Part of a small group of modern luxury town homes at the edge of the ocean, Villa Dona has a shared tennis court, and a large palapa covered beach side patio. The 2900 square feet villa features a large living room, dining area, half bathroom, and bright modern kitchen with complete cooking utensils. Upstairs is a very large master bedroom, with king bed, walk in closet, sitting area, and private covered patio with awesome ocean view. Second bedroom has two twin beds, private covered patio and shared bathroom. Third bedroom has a comfortable double bed and shared bathroom. The two car garage has a new washer and dryer with laundry sink. Light marble floors reflect clean brightness throughout the house.
All rooms have new, individually remote controlled air conditioners and ceiling fans for comfort and economy. Water is filtered through a dual stage system and there is a new hot/cold bottled water dispenser easily refilled from the clubhouse on the grounds. The screened villa is fully furnished, including satellite TV, two DVD’s, stereo system, barbecue and linens. Twice/week maid service is included in rentals of two weeks or less. Low cost maid service can be easily arranged. Gas for cooking and electricity are charged according to use.included. All major car rentals are available at the airport. Lower cost car rental is available in nearby Bucerias.

My wife, Donna and I purchased the Villa Dona mainly for when we partially retire from medical practice in the next few years. In the meantime, we enjoy it about 3 weeks per year when unoccupied by guests. Proximity to large airport with frequent flights provides convenient easy access.
The Unique Benefits of this House
It's a short drive to the fun and variety of Puerta Vallarta, yet it offers a feeling of privacy and seclusion. We enjoy the plethora of nearby restaurants and activities.

We spent 10 weeks at the villa everything was perfect it is close to town, marina (fresh fish market). The neighbors were very friendly. My wife and I with our two young children always felt very safe. The villa had all the comforts of home making us feel at home right away. We had such a great experiance that we going to come back next year for 10 more weeks.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

'Villa Dona' was the perfect holiday retreat in La Cruz, Mexico ... very quiet and private. The home was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped and every bit as beautiful as advertised. No 'problema' with this rental.
