We would love to welcome you to our delightful and very spacious two bedroom London apartment located in the heart of prestigious Kensington and Chelsea, in central London. Notting Hill is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in London and a fantastic location for your stay in London.
Located within a short walking distance to: the Victoria & Albert (V&A) Museum, the Natural History Museum; Kensington Palace the former home of Princess Diana; the Albert Hall; Speakers Corner in Hyde Park, Harrods, Knightsbridge, and the trendy shops of Westbourne Grove. You are surrounded by cafés, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and stores.
Within 3 minutes walk is the London Underground station of Notting Hill Gate, also there are many buses to give quick access to every part of central and outer London, the rest of Britain and Europe. This is one of the most central locations in London.
The flat, which is on the top floor, is large, spacious and bright with extensive views over London. The property, circa 1938, is a mansion block and has two lifts. There is a live-in porter on duty 24 hours a day. It has a security entry system, so it is safe and secure.
Inside the flat it is beautifully decorated but also luxuriously comfortable. The beds' linen is high count Egyptian cotton. The bathroom has been upgraded to meet North American standards and boasts an endless supply of hot water - as well as a powerful shower there is also a deep bath for a good long soak; for after the sightseeing.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything you might need.
This property is very popular with families. Basically because it is of such spacious proportions but also our guests have access to a private locked communal garden square; an oasis of tranquility comprising of eight acres of stunning parkland, with a children's' play area, picnic tables, exercise space and lawns for just kicking a ball around. These gardens featured in the movie "Notting Hill". In addition, we also have membership to the private tennis court located in the gardens.
Shopping is limitless: Harrods, Knightsbridge are walking distance going across Hyde Park. Close by are Kensington Church Street, Portobello for antiques and fashion; Westbourne Grove - the new fashion district - full of not only well known fashion designer boutiques but also new and quirky ones. For the more traditional 'high street shopper' you are on the doorstep of Kensington High Street and a short bus or tube ride takes you to Oxford and Regent Street for an array of wonderful shops.
Easy airport access:
From Heathrow Airport take the Express Train to Paddington and then a 10 minute taxi ride.
From Gatwick Airport take the Express Train to Victoria and then a 10 minute taxi ride.
