The perfect house for your family or close friends, the Gold Mill Chalet is a minute’s drive to Okemo Mountain. Or leave your car at the house and take the FREE SHUTTLE BUS from right outside our front door on weekends and holiday weeks to Okemo’s base lodge.
After a hard day of skiing or boarding, your après ski plans may include a quick walk to town for a drink, a bite to eat, shop or stroll along Ludlow’s lively Main Street. Or enjoy your own apres ski back at the house in the living room, where you can warm by the wood-burning stove (stacked wood in basement), snuggle on our cozy wrap around couch or relax in comfy leather chairs. The entertainment center includes a TV, DVD player and CD/stereo system. We also have a variety of board games.
Looking to save money with family and friends? We have a fully-stocked eat-in kitchen with center cooking island or you can BBQ on our spacious back deck, which is right off the kitchen overlooking the enchanting Jewel Brook. Our kitchen has all the modern amenities you’ll need for preparing and enjoying great meals, including a microwave, crock pot, wok, griddle, mini-chopper, coffee grinder, dishwasher as well as other customary appliances.
Our Chalet has 3 bedrooms: The master bedroom overlooks the babbling brook and has a queen-size bed; the 2nd bedroom has a full-size bed, 1 set of bunk-beds and an extra fold-down couch; and the cozy 3rd bedroom has 1 full-size bed with 1 twin bunk above. All bedrooms have antique dressers and a seating area for lounging or use for a place to throw your gear.
Not a downhill skier or snowboarder? You’ll also find cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, snowmobiling, snow tubing, ice skating and a gym with racquetball and indoor pool nearby.
Finally, original broad pine wood floors throughout the Chalet give you a true at-home VT experience.
