In Maya, Nhaa Saastal means “House of the Rising Sun” and this is the perfect location to experience just that! Nhaa Saastal is located on the east coast of Isla Mujeres, which is the easternmost location in Mexico. This 2-story house looks out to the open Caribbean and the breeze keeps it comfortable even during the summer season. This house has been recently renovated and represents the best of Mexican colour and design with attention to detail appreciated by our guests.

Enjoy the spectacular view from the terrace and private second floor balcony off the master bedroom or simply rest and enjoy the courtyard surrounded by flowering bougainvilleas, hibiscus and Flor de Mayo.

The ground floor features a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and living room, all with a view of the Caribbean. There is also a large bedroom with 1 queen-size bed, 1 single bed and a 3-piece bathroom. Upstairs you will find a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, private bathroom and large balcony.

Both bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Nhaa Saastal is located mid-island in the suburb La Gloria. There are 2 Internet Cafés nearby as well as several convenience stores, and laundry service. There are also numerous neighborhood restaurants and take-out stands within a short walking distance. With only a 5 minute ($2 U.S.) taxi ride to Centro (downtown) and bus service 2 short blocks away (less than 50 cents U.S.) you will enjoy a truly local experience with easy access to the more “touristy” downtown.

This house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Nhaa Saastal is ideal for couples or families. Your Canadian hosts, Joyce and Bob (Isla residents for 15 years), have extensive knowledge about the area and will provide information and recommendations to help make your Isla vacation unforgettable.
