The Bears' Den is a charming cabin located 2 miles west of Priest Lake on Highway 57 near Nordman. You may launch your boat at nearby Reeder Bay, snowmobile from your front door to Nordman snow park, cross country ski from airport road just 3 miles away.
All of the conveniences that a small quaint town has to offer is just about six miles, where you will find gift shops, a great coffee stand, groceries,restaurants and lounge, gas and toy rental shop.
We have four hundred plus miles of groomed snow mobile trails which make Priest Lake one of the best snowmobiling destinations in the US. The Bears' Den can accommodate up to 12 persons. Start your own family traditions here at a peaceful place to escape the city life. We enjoy sharing our cabin with friends who return each year.

This is a great cabin!

We stayed here the week after Christmas and had a great time. We were looking for a relaxing place to unwind after the rush of the holidays and this place was just perfect! The pictures do not do this cabin justice, the whole place has been updated and both bathrooms were very nicely done as was the kitchen. We were there with 4 of our adult children and it easily accommodates 6, more if you don't mind doubling up in bedrooms and using the convertible beds in the living room. We spent New Year's Eve at nearby Elkins resort which is about 3 miles away. Hills is 8 miles away. One caveat, this cabin is right on hwy 57 so it is not off the beaten track, however it was quiet and peaceful and close to anything we did want to visit. We will be back!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a wonderful winter weekend! The weather was cold 8 degree mornings 25 degree days with crisp blue bird sunshine! The cabin stayed toasty warm the whole weekend. We found everything we needed right there, and the cabin was very clean! We snowshoed some trails... xcountry skied at the golf course... watched the Sled Dog races, and at night we relaxed by the fire listening to great music, playing board games, and drinking "special" cocoa drinks! It's a wonderful cabin for making family memories! We were so sad to have to leave on Sunday, but knew we'd be back again! If I had any suggestions I'd say..... hummm nope, it was perfect!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

We just went there for the weekend, but found it to be very relaxing & Very clean. The atmosphere was how we would picture a cabin up in the woods to be. Everything that we forgot, was there! We had a great time and plan on doing it again.

My husband and I and 8 of our closest friends rented this cabin last weekend. The men snowmobiled during the day and us women spent time chatting and drinking coffee and baileys. We had so much fun! It was a great getaway. The pictures don't do it justice. It is very spacious, with a wide, neatly lit hallway, beautiful cabinentry, fancy granite tile spread throughout, cozy wilderness decor and not to mention the huge jetted tub in the master bath, perfect for bubble baths at night. With 10 of us showering, the dishwasher and washing machine running, we never ran out of hot water. It was a very spacious layout with many places to sleep, sit and relax. The only negative thing about the cabin was that we had to come home. This cabin is extremely clean and cozy, with all the amenities of home. I would stay there again and so would our friends. We are already planning a return trip in the summer. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great getaway!!!
