My husband and I were so happy with this condo. Has a great view of pool area and ocean. The pictures are exactly how everything looks in the condo. The condo may not be the most "updated", but is sure is "homey", clean and perfect!! The outside area is kept clean. The sounds of the ocean are wonderful. If you like birds that "chirp" there are plenty for you to wake up to the sound of. It is the perfect location to go anywhere..... we rented a car and pretty much did sightseeing all over the island. There are beach towels, lounge chairs, inner tubes, etc. supplied inside the condo unit, which was great! We always kept the chairs in our trunk because we were always driving around looking for new and different beaches. You are able to lounge around the pool or on the lounge chairs in the grass area looking out at the ocean..... BEAUTIFUL!! The ocean is misleading....it looks small and the sand may not be the perfect "sand" color, but it actually is very nice. You can go for a short walk, and the water is actually quite perfect. I laid on an blow-up inner tube on the ocean and just let the waves take me.....it was soooo relaxing..... The owner Larry responded to all my questions and concerns..... very nice to do business with and we will definitely be coming back!!! Mahalo!!!!!

Perfect Choice!!

LOVED our stay!!! The owner is great to deal with. So are all the people here. The property is everything I could have asked for, FANTASTIC VIEW (staring at the ocean from the couch and listening to it while we sleep, is gorgeous), Clean and spacious and great location. We mostly got food we BBQ'd in the evenings, did a breakfast at the Gazebo, good thing we got there just before 7am and waited for the opening at 7:30am, and did a few lunches out. At the property here, we enjoyed sitting on the lawn staring at the ocean with our afternoon cocktails. We never swam in the pool, we chose the ocean, but it's great and warm. A perfectly quiet property for family or couples. But I guess Maui is rather quiet which is great. We hope to come back next year with our little girl, she'll be 4 by then. Seems like we missed out by not coming during 'whale season'. It would be UNREAL to see them from the lanai here. I did swim along side a HUGE sea turtle in a nearby bay! Thanks so much again, we needed this vacation and it EXCEEDED our expectations and we would love to come back again and again. MAHALO!!!!!

We had such a delight at your condo on Maui. We were wondering if you had any friends in Las Vegas that might have such nice places. That would be great.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon last month in Hawaii. Our second half of our trip was at the Royal Kahana and we absolutely loved it. The condo was just as described, even better! The view from the lanai was lovely and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean each night was perfect. The location is great and we look forward to coming here on our next trip. Thanks again Larry.

Royal Kahana #615 Recommended

Our stay at the Royal Kahana was awesome. We stayed Jan 10.-Jan 20. 2011. Waking up each morning watching the whales breach out of the water and flip their fins and tails was so cool to see. A lot of stuff located near by or 15 minutes down the road for food,shopping, grocery store and golf.Looking for a home town pub with food; Dollies just down the road has a great atmosphere and the locals are friendly with good food. But the view is breath taken at the Royal Kahana. I would recommend this place to stay.
