Welcome to our peaceful and relaxing mountain home, Mountain Haven. This brand-new, custom built, non-smoking home is located in the beautiful mountains of Jasper, Georgia. Our property affronts the Burnt Mountain Preserve Trail, has tons of trees, and a creek that runs along the back property line. Mountain Haven will provide the perfect spot to start your vacation memories.
Our home is located in the Appalachian Mountain Range, which offers a wonderful place to vacation. The activities are endless…shopping from antique shops to modern outlet malls, hiking, golfing, horseback riding, riding ATVs at the local courses, or water enjoyment from white water rafting, boating or fishing at the many nearby rivers and lakes.
From Mountain Haven, you can be in either, Atlanta or Chattanooga in a little over an hour. However, it is not required to leave Mountain Retreat to go somewhere else to enjoy your vacation. You may just like spending your time relaxing at the house with one of many good books or movies that we have on hand. You may want to take a ride to downtown Jasper, which offers a wealth of historical sites or the Blue Ridge Mountains, which provide fantastic scenery.
Mountain Haven is complete with a wood burning fireplace, two levels of outdoor living porches and a screened porch. The home is professionally decorated and has all the essentials of home. There are three bedrooms, including 2 queen beds and 1 full bed. A crib and toddler bed are also available. The main level has the kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, living room, powder room and master bedroom with private bath. The lower lever has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and family room with Internet accessible computer. A washer and dryer are also available on the upper level.

Downtown Atlanta – 1-1/4 hours – 60 miles Chattanooga, TN - with its many offerings, such as the Tennessee Aquarium, Ruby Falls and Rock City (1-1/2 hours – 85 miles) North Georgia Premium Outlets – Dawsonville – 30 minutes - 20 miles Amicalola Falls State Park – 15 minutes - located in neighboring Dawson County, this is the site of Georgia's highest, most breathtaking waterfalls. The park features campsites, a lodge, cabins, and picnic shelters. There are miles of hiking trails, including an eight-mile approach trail to the southern terminus of the famed Appalachian Trail. Nature programs are conducted on the weekends and visitors with a fishing license may fish for trout from the sparkling mountain streams. Carters Lake - located just 20 minutes from Jasper, Carters Lake is a secluded area where hikers, campers and water sports enthusiasts all come to enjoy their sport. A few miles north of the lake is Fort Mountain State Park. The park offers camping facilities along with miles of challenging hiking trails. Lake Allatoona - just 40 minutes southwest of Jasper, it is popular with campers and boaters. Lake Lanier - about 50 minutes east of Jasper, it offers a large range of activities and lodging from camping to first class hotels. Mountain Hiking - The Appalachian Trail is the longest and most famous hiking trail in the world, reaching officially from Maine to Springer Mountain in northern Georgia, but the mountains themselves continue to the southwest - the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Seventy-four Ranch - is a working ranch and guest operation dedicated to entertaining and educating guests year-round. Here on beautifully serene rolling Cherokee land you can learn to ride, rope and handle horses and cows in the same way as Rocky Mountain cowboys did 150 years ago.
