Four friends stayed in this charming and well-equipped old home. We enjoyed every minute; in fact, we stayed "at home" one day rather than shop because the place is so enjoyable. It even has three rocking chairs! The hot water is hot! Best of all: the glorious sunrise over the lake!

Our family of eight-3 generations recently spent a week at this home. Everything was wonderful. The house was spacious and room for everyone to move about and have privacy as well. There was a great patio/picnic area as well as deck part way to the beach. A nice area for a fire at the beach with wood provided for the pit. The house has a great dock and we rented a boat from Holland Water Sports and were able to come and go with ease. The bike paths are right outside and 10 minute biking at the most to the farmers market and maybe 15 minutes to downtown Holland. There is a extremely nice shop right up the street to rent bicycles if you need. The view and location were everything that we wanted. A starter set of supplies were there and we really needed to do nothing while we settled in. In short a great spot for a relaxing vacation!!

Wonderful Family Holiday
Wonderful Family Holiday
Four generations of our family enjoyed this spacious home for Thanksgiving week. Even though it was not an optimal time of year to enjoy the beach the youngest generation still managed to get in some sand castle time. The home has a cozy layout where everyone had enough space but still were within earshot of everyone else. We fixed multiple meals including Thanksgiving dinner in the well stocked kitchen. The 3 bathrooms were welcome with a party of 9. Two of the bedrooms are tandem which was fine for our party but might be awkward for non-family members sharing that space. The location is awesome. Super quiet area yet just minutes from grocery, pharmacy, and restaurants. Also minutes from the area hospital and emergency room - which we unfortunately needed for a minor head wound. Lots of shopping options close by and every big box store you can imagine within a short drive. We rent vacation homes a couple of times a year for family gatherings and this was by far in our top faves. It wasn't the biggest or most luxurious but it was very comfortable and had many of the little amenities that really set it a step above. It is very nice to come into a vacation home that has beginning supplies, up to date magazines, puzzles, videos, books. A big highlight was the hysterical game of Taboo played by those from 12 to 80. Kudos to the owners for such a great home and thoughtful touches.

The Perfect Vacation Home!
The Perfect Vacation Home!
My extended family and I just completed a two week stay at this comfortabe, homey lake place. It is like being in your own home! Not one of the 14 of us felt crowded and there is enough space and places to go to be alone if desired. Having three bathrooms is a godsend with so many people. It is close to Lake Michigan's fabulous beaches and towns and provided us with plenty to do the entire time. Sleeping arrangements are such that everyone had a bed and their own private space. The description of the home was accurate as we're the pictures unlike other VRBO homes where we have stayed. Al is great to work with and answers all your questions. I would definitely return here, and our family came from multiple states to share this experience, and not one was disappointed. Your dog will love it too!
