Welcome to Sugar Pine Lodge, built on the largest peninsula (Dollar Point) on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. This 3-story 4,600 sq. ft. estate has a beautiful view of the Lake, 100 yards from lakeshore. In addition to the living area there is an attached gagrage available for your use.
The spectacular view is southerly with Mt Tallac clear to the south Shore visible from all parts of the top floor. The second and lower floors all have partial views. There are two porches on each level, six in total. The street below the home borders the lake.
Dollar Point has 6 tennis courts and a swimming pool, all within walking distance used only by residents and their guests. It has an exclusive beach with a pier, barbecue, and volleyball court. Guest cards for the amenities are provided as part of the rental. All are within easy walking distance of the home.
This custom built lodge is beautifully furnished and features clear redwood trim throughout the home. The top floor is open with 4 sky windows and has a living room with a beautiful large granite fireplace, a dining room with antique hand carved Spanish furniture, and a large kitchen with granite and a gas stove. The kitchen has a large granite island and wood bar w/ seating area for cooking, eating and gathering for breakfast, lunch or buffet dinners.
The large natural granite fireplace, (3 total in the home) in the living room has 4 couches that provides a warm ambiance for family group gatherings and has been a background for several weddings. The living/great room, dining room, and kitchen, all have gorgeous lake views.
This 3-story large family home has 4 master bedrooms each with a separate bath, a bunk room that sleeps 6, game room with pool table and a fireplace on each floor. Four beds are hand hewn local cedar. The lodge sleeps 16 people (can accommodate 20) and has a total 6 bedrooms and 6-1/2 baths. Thermostats are in each bedroom for separate adjustment. Two large water heaters provide ample hot water during ski season.
The Recreation Room/Master Bedroom on the lower level has a pool table, fireplace, “Murphy Bed”, and adjacent bathroom and shower. It is the “action area” for most kids.
