Our recent stay at Frisco House was disappointing when compared to other propertys we have rented. The photos are refective of years ago when remodeled. Today the carpet is dirty and loose fitting. The dishwasher detergent holder was broken, light in upstairs guest room was hanging by the wires when we checked in,the front door lock was falling off, the sheets for the queen beds were fitted for twins so they kept pulling away and were torn when we checked in, basement thermostat did not function correctly so our guests were cold downstaris. Not enough extra blankets or towels or dishes, Went out to the garage room to play darts and it was in disarray with wood screw strewn about. Hot tub stair freezes over and is dangerous when exiting, a better design is needed. When we checked in a water pipe was broken and water was streaming out along the house I had to determine the source and shut the valve. Sewer gas seemed to enter the house and my guests got sick. I am sorry to say but this property seems to be neglected with no real up keep being performed other than the basics. Would never consider staying at Frisco house again.

Manager response: We are sorry that this guest did not enjoy his stay at our house. We would like to address some of his concerns. We provide towels, dishes, blankets and linens for a maximum of 13 guests. The dishwasher detergent holder latch is broken, however, you can still put detergent in and the dishwasher works just fine. The downstairs thermostat is set to 68 degrees. Guests only need to use the up or down arrows to change the temperature. I have supplied 2 space heaters to help alleviate any issues with temperature control. A water pipe broke. It was very cold and we are appreciative that he could turn the water off or else the house could have flooded! It is a normal house and it is susceptible to water pipes breaking when it is freezing outside. The hot tub stair is an outdoor step coated in rubber with traction. However, we do ask our guests to use caution because the step will freeze especially when splashed with water from the hot tub. We have 3 different sized beds and not all the linens are marked with the size. I have addressed this with the cleaning staff. I am still quite puzzled by the "sewer gas" comment as my cleaning staff, hot tub crew and handyman did not uncover any "sewer gas" odors. The cleaning supplies might have still been strong when this guest checked in as the cleaning crew had just left prior to his arrival. We can't figure out any other reason for the odor. And lastly, altitude sickness is a concern for many people coming to the high country and this guest did mention part of his group was coming from Germany. We are aware the carpet is loose in the basement and that is on our list of things to repair or replace. We do strive to make sure the house is in great condition for our guests and we do value their comments and critiques.

Great Stay! Comfy Mountain Home
The house was great all aound. Just a few blocks south of Main street with the deck and hot tub facing away to the mountains. Very cozy. We had 4 couples and a straggler and we fit perfectly.

The house was nice but we had to open the windows with vise grips, the turners were all broken, half of the windows didn't have screens on them so it was warm during the days without air conditioning, I'm not sure where they get the 13 to sleep unless they include the futon in the garage. Trash had not beent picked up when we got there so it was really overflowing by the time we left. The outside didn't impress us when we pulled up. The grass was uncut and very tall. When I did call on some problems they tried to resolve them: no battery in the fire alarm (did put in a battary), kitchen sink leaked water ( it was repaired), the couldn't fix the ceiling fan in one of the main bedrooms so that didn't work. wireless internet never worked the whole time we were there, game room consisted of a foose ball game in the garage ( some board games in the basement family room with the TV). The hot tub on the deck was nice, the main floor looks like it had been remodeled. Doible shower in the main bathroom and the bedrooms on the main floor were nice. The 2 rooms down the basement were small when you pulled pulled out the trundle beds ( they were hard to pull out because the fronts of them had been pulled off and there were not handles to pull them out with. The pictures were not realistic of the place. They showed the main floor and most of it looked like the pic tures but not what I had expected completely by looking at the pictures. It was clean and had plenty of towels and extra blankets for a couple of us that didn't have a bed unless we went to the garage. Used the washer and dryer but the water backed up out of the floor drain but stayed in the washroom. Not many activities and the shops closed up early at night. We went for Ice cream and they closed at 6:00 at night. We went into Brekenridge for 5:00 church and they were going strong on the street and shopes. Frisco kind of dead. We went to Peak 8 fun park and had a great day at the park one day.

Manager response: We appreciate the feedback and have fixed all of the issues mentioned here. We have never had complaints that the photos didn't represent the house and it is usually quite the opposite. However, we understand everyone's opinions and preferences vary. There are photos of almost every room in the house but we apologize if they seem misleading. Again, we appreciate the constructive feedback.
We stayed here last spring for a ski weekend. We had 4 had adults and 4 kids under age 5. The house was great! It was well kept, clean, plenty of kitchen supplies, kid supplies and best of all toys!! The hot tub was super. and the owners were great to work with. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
We stayed at this house earlier this year and absolutely loved it. You can tell that the owners clearly loved the property and wanted to take care of it. The location is a wonderful, peaceful neighborhood, located just a few blocks from downtown Frisco. The hot tub was very nice and upscale, on the front deck and close to the door (nice for cold nights, don't have to go far when you get out). I have to say that I have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years and this was, by far, the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen. It had all the pots, pans, knives, utensils I could ever want for cooking, and all were good quality. Finally, the owners were some of the most generous and helpful people I have ever worked with. They were so nice that we wanted to leave the place in even better shape than we found it, leave behind more food and spices for the next people. I can't say enough about the place or the owners.

We stayed in this amazing house with 2 families and 4 children under 5yrs. It was fantastic, the owners were great to deal with before and during our stay. Excellent place for children, with a highchair and pack'n'play (they actually supplied an extra one for no extra charge, as were were travelling from Australia). The only downside was there was no safety gate for the stairs, and my 12month old took a tumble down 8 steps one morning! We loved Frisco and wish that we could have stayed longer!

We (9 people from three families) on Mar 7-10 for relaxation and skiing. Everthing was in order when we arrived and we were pleased with the appearance and space. We had no problem with sleeping arrangements (the photos helped us plan who would sleep where). House was great and well equipped. The kids and adults enjoyed the hot tub. Skiing was fantastic at Copper. Owner was great to work with.
