Why the Owner Chose Monarch Beach
Our Children live in Orange County, while visiting them we found Orange County to be totally beautiful and naturally we wanted to be near them. The area of Dana Point stole our hearts and we knew we could only be satisfied to find a condo in Dana Point. It took a long time but we were patient, We only wanted one by the ocean. Soon a three bedroom by the ocean came on the market. We purchased it from Nebraska sight unseen. . It was one of the best decisions we have made in our lifetime. It is like living in Paradise, we now live one mile from this condo so we are always close for our guests..
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We always spent the summmers in our condo when we first purchased it. I loved hearing the fog horns blow each morning and the seals barking on the beach. It was such fun to awake in themorning to crashing waves when the surf was up. The salt air and the cool nights in the summer time was another dream come true. We purchased our condo for our family to enjoy as at the time we lived in Omaha Nebraska. Our children lived in the area and loved to come to the beach.. The first several years we allowed only our friends and relatives to use our condo when it was available. At first we could only come out at certain times of the year and the other dates we let our family and friends use it. We had so many requests from others who wanted to rent it for their vacation that we slowly started doing it full time. We have had guests from all over the world now that we advertise on VRBO. Each year we have many return guests because Dana Point is a paradise. They want to return after their first visit for two reasons, the beauty and the weather. It cannot be beat anywhere in the US. We had a fantastic week in the Ivory Coast apartment. It is in a fantastic location right accross from the beach. Betha has fully stocked the apartment which is fantastic, the Ralphs supermarket card, detergents, beach towels, shampoos lots of loo paper - all the things that make the difference to your stay. The pool was great and we all enjoyed it and the locals were very friendly. Betha checked on us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. Dana Point is such a great place with the Marina, the magnificent coast and all the amenities. We would love to return when the boardwalk opens, it will be spectacular. Melbourne family

Dear Beth Thank you so much for your kind message! We are also very happy and proud of our family and God blessed us with beautiful children and health! It is so nice in your beautiful apartment, the beds are great, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and we love all the many nice details in every corner. Also, the shampoos are great, I love especially the Nexus Therapee...! We also love to take the beach seats with us! Yesterday we have been to the Universal studios, was a great day. We also saw the cathedral of our Lady and enjoyed it much. Today we passed a great day at Latina beach playing volleyball with some other guys, swimming and enjoying... We all got to eat together and I even gave my son home cooked meals. My younger son and bother in law went fishing and caught so many fish we had them for dinner one night. Loved the Beach! Dear Beth, We would like to thank you again for allowing us to stay at your Ivory Coast condo for two weeks in January. The unit was very nicely decorated and adequately equipped. You certainly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! Our family had a wonderful time in the Dana Point and surrounding areas. HI Beth, We arrived home safe and sound and reality was just waiting to swamp me. I now have a moment to sit and send a very heartfelt thank you... We loved it! We loved Ivory Coast. We loved the beach. We loved the drizzle while we were at the beach. Kira loved the stuffed brown dog and it went everywhere with her in the house. I LOVED the cran bread and almonds! What a sweet gesture. The home was just perfect. How long has it taken to get it "just" right? I mean, it wasn't overdone, it wasn't underdone. Everything was so cute or in just the right place. Even the bedroom doorknobs were cool! And there was Nora Roberts at my bedside! I finished one whole book. We volunteered for MS society this past spring and earned free passes to Disneyland. What a blast! The weather wasn't a factor for us. I was so glad to be away. I have been battling breast cancer the past two years. One thing or another has kept us from going on a vacation. I finally got the doctor's "ok" and we had to leave before things changed. Thank you for shortening our search for a place to stay. Obviously we couldn't have found a nicer place and in our budget. (It's a shame money has to be a factor in our - since it's really for creating memories.) It was more than a getaway... it really lifted our spirits and lightened our hearts. What a great feeling!! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality during our Dana Point vacation. As I have said before, this is the trip we have always dreamed of, and it lived up to every expectation. The Ivory Coast condo made me feel pampered, yet comfortable. The boys especially loved the blankets! Moments from the front door we were able to run on the beach, play in the surf, and look for shells. You made everything so easy for a perfect beach vacation. I would also recommend that other guests take the Whale and Dolphin Safari at Dana Point Harbor. It is amazing to see these creatures up close.
