Located only 60 feet from the ocean, you can snorkel to your hearts content. If you prefer diving, some of the best diving and snorkeling on Utila is right out front of your house. You will experience an amazing variety of underwater aquatic life and vibrant corals.
Other things to do include, hiking, bird watching, iguana watching, beach combing, going into town to shop, going to the cays to pick up fresh fish for dinner, go flats fishing for bone fish and tarpon or offshore fishing for blue marlin and wahoo.

- This property is located right on the beach. You can literally walk off the dock and jump into an ocean full of life. Some of the best diving in the world is 30 feet into the water. The house is surrounded by thousands of feet of beachfront that is available for your exploration. We have a CONCIERGE CARETAKER that is available full time during your stay. If needed, certain provisions such as alcohol and food can be provided, as well as a maid/cook if requested. A 25 foot boat is available for rental and comes with a captain. If requested, diving/snorkeling equipment can be provided by the Utila Lodge. Also, a fishing guide is available.

Terms: 50% of payment when booking; 50% 6 weeks prior to arrival.

Cassa Tranquilla, to be honest, sounded too good to be true,but proved to exceed all of our expectations and more. The house is spectacular, truly a work of art. The people of Utilla are warm and friendly and our host Alex was an amazing young man, a friend forever. We had fresh fish from the cays every day and Bush's grocery store has everything and anything. Drop dead snorkeling just thirty feet off the front deck. I had to pinch myself just to make sure I wasn't dreaming.We go somewhere different every year,usually off the grid a bit. This was the first time we didn't want to come home. We will be going back, perhaps three weeks or a month. I just can't seem to get this place out of my head. Layne,Heather&Zoe.

The house was large and lots of room for all of us. The view was spectacular. We spent most of our time relaxing on the front porch, beautiful. We did exactly what we set out to do - RELAX! Even the 5 teenagers loved it; that says a lot.
