I have a "local" company that is available for private tours, hiking,photography and wildlife sightseeing, cross country skiing, etc. Call Amber with brushbuckphototours @ 888 282-5868 and she is willing to give our guests the same discount she gives her returning guests! Also we have set up with a local masseuse that will come to the house to pamper you in style, as well as someone available to do hair and nails for a "special" night out. If you would prefer to stay in for that "special" night - hire the chef or the local wineshop owner for a great meal or a special wine tasting. Take advantage of the company that will come in and fill the refrigerator for you before you arrive!
We have stocked the house with something for everyone, from the "mini gym" located in 1/2 of the 533 sq ft heated garage including a treadmill, stationary bike, resistant bands, free weights and yoga mats to over 20 different games,toys, jigsaw puzzles,a stocked bookcase, the 15-1 game table or the movies and 200 channel TV - everyone can be in a different part of the house and as busy or lazy as wanted.
While we are surrounded with 3 ski resorts,we are just 22 miles from Targhee, which not as well known as Jackson, is awesome powder skiing and except for all of the locals who have discovered it, you can get wide open skiing and snowboarding without the long wait lines. Back at the house we have a couple of sleds to take the kids on a few wild rides just outside the house or hop on the bikes and go for a lazy afternoon ride to work up your appetite for a great dinner.
There are also miles and miles of cross country skiing and snowshoeing in and around the house as well as hiking trails that never end. Within the property there is plenty of area to go bike riding or take the 8 mile path into the town of Driggs for some shopping and a bite to eat. Just 4 miles down the road you can play golf on a beautiful public golf course.
You can choose to either take in all of the local activities or close the door, turn on the fireplace and curl up with a book and watch the wildlife wander by from the large banks of windows around the house.
This home has just been finished and we have filled it with more than enough extras to make it top notch comfy! There is a full bathroom en suite with the 3 upstairs bedrooms - all jet tubs. Downstairs there is a half bath connected to the fourth bedroom.
We have just spent the last month decorating this home to our comfort level - WOW!
The homes main centerpiece is a massive stone gas fireplace that is viewed from both the large living room and the gorgeous kitchen. It travels up to the 2nd floor and the vaulted ceilings.
This home has all of the top end upgrades including granite countertops, hardwood and slate floors, stainless appliances, a heated garage and plenty of travertine throughout.
We are avid wildlife photographers and the home has been decorated with our wildlife photos of the area, or you can also go out and find plenty to photograph during your time at the house - and even right from the property! There is a moose mama that has set up house at the back of the property and a pair of bald eagles that have a nest right at the front of the property - can't wait until spring to see the babies.
This area is full of non-stop activities from hiking,the 3 local ski resorts for skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snowmobiling and even dog sled rides,and sleigh rides through the national elk reserve! That is just the winter activities, and the summer gets even busier with world class fly fishing, horseback riding,rock climbing, rafting, hiking, biking (5 mountain bikes are at the house for your use while visiting), wagon rides through the elk farm, 4 miles to an awesome public play golf course, and exploring - not to mention all the wildlife viewing - you will have to stay two weeks to get it all in!
These outside activities don't even cover all of the awesome shopping, restaurants and entertainment in one of the best cities in the world - Jackson, Wyoming - an incredibly scenic 22 minute drive away. We had to stop to let a moose walk right in front of our car on our last trip over to do some shopping and dinner!
Back to the house and a cozy night curled up in front of the fireplace with the 58" plasma TV mounted above, with 200 channels to choose from or pop in a movie. Each bedroom has their own TV with VCR/DVD's in the master bedroom, bunkbed room and livingroom.

I have a booster seat for any little ones that need a little help at meal time. There are 5 bikes at the house for those long lazy afternoon rides or jump on the stationary bike or the treadmill when you don't feel like leaving the house.

We just arrived back home from the most incredible vacation of our 59 years of marriage. We went on our 1st sleigh ride through a herd of 2000 elk, we saw a monster bison right beside the car, sat in front of the fireplace and put together a puzzle - something we have never had time to do together before. I had my 1st jet tub bath and wrapped up in one of the huge bathsheets warm off the towel rack. The bed was like sleeping on air and we just kept saying "no one lives like this" This house has everything we could possibly think of and more with all of the little special touches that made us never want to leave. We have already decided to save up to come back in the fall when the leaves are changing - we already can't wait and we just got home! Thank you for the best anniversary vacation of our lives - we will be dreaming of this house and the magical feeling we enjoyed up there.
