This 1st floor dream home on the sand is located on a corner lot in Sunset Beach, a unique community located North of Huntington Beach and just South of Long Beach and Seal Beach.
No need to cross the street to go to the beach........ you are already there! This very clean home was thoughtfully prepared by 2nd generation vacation rental proprietors who have spent many years of their lives living and traveling the world. After over a decade of hotel stays; the standard of our home's cleaning, details, amenities and conveniences far exceeds that of most places. Life guard stand at the edge of the property & shore.
Sunset Beach is a wonderful one-mile long “small town”, with year around events, it is close to many Southern California attractions - but nestled away on a beautiful uncrowded white sandy beach.
Its name gives away our secret of breath taking sunsets and views of Catalina Island from your dream home and amazing deck on the sand.
Over 50 years ago our family built this elegant yet comfortable downstairs apartment on the sand surrounded by a lush tropical garden, sandy beach and Pacific Ocean. The dining room and living room large ocean view doors open out to a spacious and magnificent deck on the sand.
Take in the warm sun, fresh breeze, beautiful views, sunsets. Relax and unwind. Watch the birds fly by and often the dolphins at play. It is an amazing place to watch time go by and make lifelong memories.
If you decide to venture from your spacious deck and return from strolling, swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, sunning, or shell collecting - enjoy the outdoor shower with endless hot water.
Take in the view while Barbecuing or even from the kitchen. Or there are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance (or delivery), shopping and sites are a short distance away.
The Sunset Decadence is truly a special place. Enjoy your dream home away from home; just relax and get away from it all, or in the evenings between day trips.

We just returned from our stay at this beautiful home. The owners were so sweet and accomodating - the beach was pristine! Not very often that you find people who care so much about every little detail and ensuring that you have a great time! Hope we can come back soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for making your home available to us :) The kids (10 months and 3 years) had a blast playing with all of the toys and the "miles and miles of sandbox".Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.

Es waren schoue iage hier. Was Haus, den Strand und nicht zuletet nieiue freundeichen Gaslgeber woudeich uri vergessen. Thank you for a lovely week at the ocean. Your home was a perfect oasis for our family. We were awed by the beautiful sunset every evening and awoke to spectacular mornings. The three surfers in the family sharpened their skills; most of all, our son who mastered his short board on the fast waves outside our door! The accommodations were greatly appreciated. The pleasure of staying in two of your vacation homes on the property was fun and exciting!!! Our vacation week was one of the most memorable yet! Your home is beautiful and the view was spectacular! our family enjoyed the peace & quiet away from lap tops & video games! We had much fun watching the dolphins and of course the beautiful sunsets..... This will definitely be a vacation to remember and we will have fond memories in the years to come.
