This 1st floor dream home on the sand is located on a corner lot in Sunset Beach, a unique community located North of Huntington Beach and just South of Long Beach and Seal Beach.
Sunset Beach is a wonderful one-mile long “small town”, with year around events, it is close to many Southern California attractions - but nestled away on a beautiful uncrowded white sandy beach.
Its name gives away our secret of breath taking sunsets and views of Catalina Island from your dream home and amazing deck on the sand.
Over 50 years ago our family built this elegant yet comfortable downstairs apartment on the sand surrounded by a lush tropical garden, sandy beach and Pacific Ocean. The dining room and living room large ocean view doors open out to a spacious and magnificent deck on the sand.
Take in the warm sun, fresh breeze, beautiful views, sunsets. Relax and unwind. Watch the birds fly by and often the dolphins at play. It is an amazing place to watch time go by and make lifelong memories.
If you decide to venture from your spacious deck and return from strolling, swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, sunning, or shell collecting - enjoy the outdoor shower with endless hot water.
Take in the view while Barbecuing or even from the kitchen. Or there are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance (or delivery), shopping and sites are a short distance away.
The Sunset Decadence is truly a special place. Enjoy your dream home away from home; just relax and get away from it all, or in the evenings between day trips.

Travertine floors and the most amazing Granite Counters are like a Monet of the many colors of the beach, ocean & sunsets. The waterfall tub for two and dolphin spouted sinks make the bathroom an oasis all it’s own. The dining room and sunken living room are elegant yet comfortable. Very comfortable queen sized beds and queen size comfort sofa beds (So comfortable many have told us they don’t want to go home!). This 2 bedroom dream home sleeps 8 comfortably. Includes Wireless Internet access, flat screen TV, Premium Satellite TV programming, DVD and DVD library. Organic & Luxury linens (bedding and towels), paper products, beach towels, games, books, and sand castle- making tools. Fully equipped kitchen including basic cooking ingredients (mostly organic) and even popcorn & brownie mix in case you have a craving! The kitchen was equipped by a kitchen gadget fanatic! - In town: Take a romantic stroll on the beach or explore by beach combing. Stroll the greenbelt through residential Sunset Beach. Lifeguards are on the beach from June to September. Walking distance to Huntington Harbor and Peter’s Landing; Bicycle, Kayak and Surfboard rentals, and a variety of Restaurants and “watering holes”. It is nice places to jog, run, and skate around town… Or just relax! Sunset Beach is a wonderful family beach community. Enjoy BBQing, sunbathe on the deck or the wind protected “nook” by the landmark catamaran. Close by: Seal Beach and Huntington Beach Piers are only 10 minutes away. Bolsa Chica Wetlands is less than a 1 mile away. Enjoy the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, Museums. Newport Beach, miniature golf, cinemas, many golf courses, South Coast Plaza and other shopping centers – all about a 15 to 25 minute drive. In the area: Drive 30 minutes or so to Knott’s Berry Farm, Disneyland, Discovery Museum.
