LOCATION
This apartment is located in the historic centre of the city, in an area completely forbidden to car trafic (pedestrian), only a stone’s throw from the most important Florentine piazzas and monuments.
Facing onto the Duomo in the quiet pedestrian area, it offers tranquility and safety, allowing you to discover unexpected corners of this ancient city. All around there is a wide choice of restaurants, trattorias, bars and food shops. The perfect solution for an unforgettable and relaxing holiday in Florence.
INTERIOR
Light and airy thanks to two large windows, it is tastefully and functionally furnished. The apartment is 55 m2 large (592 square feet).
The main bedroom with double bed offers a splendid view of the Duomo, while the large sitting room consists of a double sofa-bed. The kitchen is equipped for four to five people with all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, hot plates, fridge-freezer, toaster, microwave oven, and washing-drying machine.
The bathroom has a shower, hairdryer etc. All bedroom, kitchen and bathroom linen is supplied, and there is also a satellite TV, single heating, air-conditioning and a safe;
Wi-fi is available upon request.

From €135/night .. €670/week .. €1490/month We require a deposit to hold the apartment that will be paid with paypal. The balance will be paid upon arrival in cash 40 Euro cleaning fee 20% Discount from November to February weekly or monthly stays The prices reported are the basic rates they can change depending on the period of the year from 125 to 145 Euro per night. Cancellation policy: in case of cancellation the guest only looses the deposit.

This apartment could not have been better. The photos do not do it justice. Everything was better than described. Clean and abundant with space. There are no small rooms. The Kitchen is large and stocked. There is a terrace off the kitchen with table and chairs that has a nice view of Fiesole. The living room is loaded with all the usual electronics, library of books on and about Italy, and the layout is comfortable. I reckon you could sleep 6 comfortably in this room alone as every piece of furniture can pull out to make a bed. There is an extra room too. A large entry equipped with a full size futon. The bathroom is also large with lots of surface area to place toiletries. The bedroom was comfortably made up with twin beds for us but the usual is a queen bed. And there is a lift. LOCATION! Open the windows and stand back, all you can see is the Cathedral. Our host Lorenzo is kind and most helpful. He really cares that you have a good holiday. He helped us arrange train tickets, hailed us a taxi for us and made sure we were on our way safely and on time. I don’t have one single negative thing to say about this choice in lodging. This is one of the best rentals on VRBO. We WILL be back, as Lorenzo offered to take us on a wine tasting tour of Tuscany next time. I can’t wait. Lorenzo, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your warm kindness to us, we will not forget you.

My daughter and I stayed here for our first visit to Florence. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was was clean, comfortable, spacious, safe and centrally located making it easy to walk everywhere. Lorenzo was helpful and well organized. We would definately stay here again.

The owner: extremely friendly and helpful The apartment: well-maintained, clean and beatiful. The view on Duomo and "Paradise gate" was the first thing that we saw from the window; the breakfast in the apartment is like the breakfast on the Duomo piazza. The only difference is , you are closer to Duomo. Well, and it is not as expensive. We loved the location; it's literally steps away from Duomo and 5 minutes walk to everywhere - Academy Gallery, Uffizi, Medici palace... Definitely would recommend it to any of my friends. One caveat: Since the place is right in the middle of everything, it could be a little bit noisy at night, depending on the type of the crowd on the street. Normally, though, we would betoo tired and happy to lose our sleep because of that. I loved the Florence, really liked the apartment and would go there second time.

The rental apartment on the Piazza del Duomo was superb! We enjoyed it tremendously. The location is of course ideal, and the apartment itself, with all its amenities, was lovely from every point of view: bedding, linens, kitchen, bath – all first rate. But the best of all was the front face view of the Duomo from the tall living and bedroom twenty feet tall windows. Unforgettable!!!

The location of the apartment is wonderful. Literally it is steps from the Duomo. We would defiantly stay there again if we are lucky enough to visit Florence again.
