Stayed here with my wife and young daughter (3) as we wanted to ensure there was space for her to run around and boy was there ever! This place was huge. It had a small kitchen which was good for breakfasts and such, but who eats inside when Florence is outside your door!? Literally across the street from the Duomo and a short walk from the train. Had a spectacular stay here.

Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The apartment is great What a view from every room. Right outside the Duomo. Apartment was clean and quite comfortable. Lorenzo was very helpful checking us in and giving us an overview of Florence. Only regret was we should have spent a few more days in Florence.

I stayed here for 2 weeks with 3 other women and we couldn't have asked for a better location or apartment! The centralized location meant we were within easy walking distance to EVERYTHING and being able to spot the magnificent Duomo from everywhere made it easy to always find our way back home again as the apartment is directly across the street from it. The Duomo was the first thing we saw every morning and the last thing we saw every night-- I didn't even need to lift my head off the pillow to see it. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen perfectly sized and fully equipped for our needs, and we really appreciated the full-size refrigerator. The lift was a total blessing as the stairway in the building is very narrow and there are no lights along the way. An information book left in the kitchen was an amazingly wonderful bonus as it listed nearby grocery stores, internet cafes, transit info, emergency numbers, and other useful info. We booked one of the tour guides listed, Francesco, to take us on an all day tour of Tuscan villages with wine tasting and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We also hired Francesco to transport us to the airport when we left Florence. Only negative thing we encountered was the high level of noise from the street at all hours of the day and night-- but then we were there in late April to early May and there were 4-5 national holidays during that time with parades out in front of the building and late night partying apparently going on nearby every night. Great to be in the hub of things but difficult if you're a light sleeper. These accommodations were perfect for our needs and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again (November??) or recommend to anyone.

A fantastic view and so close to all the sights. Easy to find, clean and relaxing. Three bedrooms meant the kids had space. We would definately stay here again and have recommended it to friends. This is where you want to stay in Florence.

Three of us spent four nights at the "Eden" apartment in October, 2010. The apartment is literally across the street from the Duomo, with multiple windows looking over the street directly at the Duomo. Perfect location. The apartment is clean and neat. We washed clothes (air dry). We bought food at the market and cooked for ourselves one night. All the pots, pans, dishes etc. are there. The bathroom was spacious, and had hair dryers. There are three "real" bedrooms, which sleep 5. Lorenzo was a helpful host, and he appeared at the beginning and end as promised. We were fearful that with the apartment on the 5th floor, the promised elevator would not work - but, the elevator worked perfectly, though it is a bit small (3 people with luggage needed two trips). As Americans, we are used to softer beds, but the beds were the same at every place we stayed in Italy, both in apartments and hotels, so these are very typical. Also, I recommend Lorenzo buy a few more pillows. I'm sure we're not the only people who prefer multiple pillows for each sleeper. Bottom line - this place was great, and I highly recommend it.

I stayed in the apartment with my niece and daughter-in-law for 3 nights in May of 2009. The apartment was beautiful, the location unbelievable. To look out the window & see the Duomo was too good to be true. We were in walking distance from everywhere. I would choose this apartment for my next visit in Florence!
