This spacious 1800 sq ft three bedroom, two bathroom single story house has accommodations for 6 to 8 people.
It is located on the southern shore of Lake DeSoto in the resort community of Hot Springs Village. It has a fantastic lake front location which results in a panoramic view of Lake DeSoto. We have enhanced the natural drainage channel that runs from the woods to the lake at the side of the property by adding a pump to make it a relaxing babbling brook that you can enjoy in the evening on the deck or dock.
Swimming, fishing, boating, and hiking are all at your fingertips. For the golfers in your group, the number and quality of the Hot Springs Village golf courses is legendary.
As can be seen from the photos, landscaping features Encore Azaleas which bloom throughout the year! The large boat/swimming dock can accommodate your boat or our pontoon boat which is available for rental by our guests.
The house is easily reached from the main entrance to the Village, being just off of DeSoto Blvd and only about three miles into the Village. The Spa town of Hot Springs is less than half an hour away and offers many sights and attractions. These include art galleries, antique shops, museums, botanical gardens, amusement park, horse racing at Oaklawn Park, etc., etc. A wealth of interesting recreational opportunities.
This property is located only a few doors down the street from one of our other Village rental house on Castellon Drive, which can sleep 8-10 people. See VRBO listing 134164. Rented this fall for a long weekend with girlfriends. Everything was as advertised and our host was most helpful. Groceries, wine and drug stores all close by. Great porch with a great view of the lake. Thanks, Cor!

We stayed in this property for a week and it was like being at home. Everything you need to be comfortable is all under this one roof. We also had a great time fishing and swimming off of the boat dock. It is truly one of the best properties in HSV. We will defiantly be back next year. Thanks Cor for making us feel so welcome, you guys are GREAT!

property was exactly as described, accommodations were exactly as described, renter was helpful and made sure everything was right. Our grandchildren enjoyed fishing, and making smores on the fire-pit. would definitely recommend and will stay here again. Four adults two children ages 4 and 6. Walmart is not far away, great eating places nearby, local eating like sonic, burger king, subway

Our family spent a wonderful week in this home. The listing and pictures were very accurate. Home is kept exceptionally clean and everything in good working order. We spent time at Magic Sprins and also on the lake, simply relaxing. This is the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. Thanks Cor for taking such good care of us.

Had my wedding reception here and it was perfect!! The house was spotless and the grounds were beautiful. We took so many pictures around the house and by the lake. We had out of state people staying with us and we even rented a boat for the day. GREAT fishing!! Hot Springs Village has a lot to offer and Cor, the owner, is a wonderful help and has everything you could possibly need in the house. Beds were comfy.

My husband and I stayed in the home the month of January and February. Our home was as lovely as the pictures and very neat and tidy. Being the winter months it still was a very lovely setting. The owner met us the day we checked in and showed us around the home and explained everything very clearly. He even had a book with all attractions, phone numbers and etc, that we might need. Being there 2 months he checked on us every other week to see if all was ok or if we need anything. We had been in HSV last year, but not at this place so we knew the area pretty well. We did visit the Science Museum and our grandchildren (ages 3 and 10) loved it. They loved all the things you could do there, lots of hands on things. We also visited the Allagator Farm. they were all inside, but we were the only ones there so they let us touch them. It was just fun to see them, not many animals, but it was worth it. We went to the crystal mines, my grandson loved digging for crystals. It is great fun for all. We would recommend this home to our friends. We will return next year if all possible. GREAT VIEW OF THE LAKE - BEAUTIFUL PORCH... WE WOULD LIKE NICE WEATHER NEXT YEAR.....

My wife & I stayed at this property for one week to look at property in Hot Springs Village. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. We travel & stay in many rentals and this one is furnished better than any we have ever stayed at. Virtually everything you need is provided. The owner was very helpful in our education to the area and very generous with his time. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in Hot Springs Village for a vacation.

We have been staying in Hot Springs Village for 30 years and have had the opportunity to stay in many homes and condos. 7 San Mateo is in our top 5. Beautiful home and location. Very well furnished and maintained. Looking forward to a future visit.
