Excellent Studio Apartment in the City Center!

We stayed in this studio apartment for 1 week and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The bed is comfortable, the terrace is fantastic and the location could not be better. If you are looking for a "quiet" stay then this is not the place for you. It is adjacent to the Duomo and the bell tower is very loud at hours of the night when some people may want to be sleeping. We loved it! There is a very small lift for luggage to go up and down and a small but workable kitchenette and bathroom. The studio is very clean and should any problems arise, Lorenzo is always there to help you. He is also useful for information regarding the city and tours. Talk to him if you are interested in taking a tour not normal to most tourists. Stefano and Marco are also very kind to provide private tour information which we did. (Private tour of Duomo and Accademia along with cooking lesson). Yes! The kitchenette worked for a 4 course meal! :-) You can arrange car service from the airport to the apartment and will be thoroughly entertained by Francesco! Stay in this apartment and you will not be disappointed if you want to feel like you're a part of the city.

The Perfect Location

We are so pleased with our stay in this studio apartment, particularly because it was literally steps from the Piazza Duomo. The large sunny terrace was perfect for our breakfast and even lunch on occasion - it is one of the main reasons I chose to stay here. Lorenzo and his wife were most helpful in arranging for a driver to pick us up and a taxi when we left. In addition, they provided information on restaurants and shops, plus a couple of bottles of very nice local wine! With a pizza place just downstairs, and a wonderful restaurant (Robiglio's) just across the way, we were well taken care of. Thank you again Lorenzo - we would love to come back for another visit.

Wonderful location

The location of this apartment could not be better. It is a 10-15 minute walk to any where in the city that is of major attraction. It was a very equipped and clean apartment. The terrace was a wonderful afternoon break. We spent 21 glorious days with a bottle of wine and some cheese and life under the Tuscan sun!! A wonderful place. The only down was the charge for the internet. In this age we felt that it could have been provided with the fee.

Spotless and As Advertised

We rented this apartment for 8 days (24 Sep to 02 Oct 2011) and found it as advertised. It was secure and spotless. We found it a "studio" type property, meeting the needs of two people very well; while the apartment was smallish, the large and lovely terrace well made up for that fact. It was all that was required for our comfort. Lorenzo and his wife were very helpful, as was the informative binder, complete with local supermarket listings, restaurants and instructions for the apartment provided by them. The availability of the "Library" in the hallway was also much appreciated. We recomment this property to couples as more than two might be "tight".

Holiday apt in Firenze

Indeed, a wonderfull appartment in central Firenze, with the Duomo in your backyard! The property is perfect for two persons, very clean and very well kept. All you need is available, and there's that fantastisc terrace, large, provided with gardenfurniture, and big pots with plants and flowers, which garantee your privacy. Description and photos were accurate. We were very well helped by our arrival, and we would certainly recommend this property to our friends. For nearby attractions, restaurants, etc...we would simply recommend...: Firenze, what a city!

Terrace apartment in Florence

We stayed in this apartment for three weeks. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The terrace was wonderful and provided beautiful views of the city streets. We spent almost every afternoon outside with a lunch of fresh food from the San Lorenzo Market and a glass of wine. The apartment is located just a few steps from the Duomo and the excitement and noise of the city. Inside it is quiet and peaceful, a perfect retreat from sightseeing. The location is a close walk to the train station and dozens of great restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The property was spotless and very comfortable. The terrace is stunning and the location couldn't be better - the Duomo is literally outside the front door. Everything worked out great with the handover of the key and our hosts were kind and very accommodating.

But I must confess I truly laughed when I asked the man selling purses by the front door if he could direct us to the Duomo and he turned around and pointed "next door." Florence was fun. I spent 11 nights at your lovely apartment. I still go there in my dreams. I loved the big doors and shutters that lead to the devine terrace. My daughter lived down the street and her friend lived next door so I really felt at home. Thank you and I will be back!

We stayed at the apartment in July 2009 for 3 days. The apartment was as shown in the pictures. Tight for 3 adults, but doable. Our favorite things about the apartment: the patio-almost as big as the room and how close it was to everything. Never used the TV, but we did use the fridge and have a light breakfast each morning. The elevator is small. Mostly used the stairs. This apartment lived up to our expectations. This was our first trip using apartments from VRBO, but we would do it again.

I had the best time of my life while staying in this apartment in Florence. The location could not be better. The apartment was comfortable, elegant, quiet and had great air conditioning, which was important in August, but the best part was the terrace. It was spectacular. Stephano and Marco, The apartment in Florence was wonderful! The location and convenience to all of the sites that we wished to see was perfect. We stayed in the apartment in June and had a wonderful time. It is in the center of the city and everything is in walking distance--and the balcony was awesome. There is a wonderful bakery across the street for breakfast and numerous restruants in the area. Stephano helped us get tickets to some of the attractions and was a great host. My wife loved the bathtub! We hope to return to Italy and Florence sometime soon.

Apartment was in great location. We used the small kitchen area a lot -- a great grocery store was just a 15 minute or so walk. With the dollar being so weak against the euro, we saved a lot of money by eating in for some of our meals. Getting access and checking out of the apartment were a breeze. I would highly recommend this apartment.

This place was fantastic. I stayed here with my sister for a weddin in Florence and it was very convenient to all the shops, the bridge, the restaurants, and the Domo was practically oustide your door. The balcony was as big as the whole apartment and people would point up at you in envy-)
