This location was described accurately on the website. The location was perfect, close to the Duomo and had a wonderful terrace to relax after a long day of sightseeing. A young girl singing opera in the square could be heard from the terrace which made it romantic. Great in the morning to sit and enjoy your coffee. The owner Lorenzo was a perfect host, giving us areas to see that we might not of known about. Piazza Michelanglo was a wonderful place to just sit and absorb the natural beauty. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and well maintained.

Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Fantastic Florence

Our family of four (including our 13 year old son and 11 year old daughter) had a wonderful time staying in this apartment in Easter 2010. The apartment is described accurately and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. It is also very clean and has plenty of room. The balcony is quite simply stunning. The apartments central locatation, in the heart of the main shopping area, and within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance to the train and bus network and some of the worlds most famous piazzas, museums and the ponte vecchio make it an ideal place to stay for families. The building is very safe and secure and we would love to stay here again if we have another chance to visit Florence.

Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Both my son and I thoroughly enjoyed the apartment in Florence. It was close to the train station where we walked every day for our day trip and it was central to all the attractions-- Uffizi, Academia, Duomo, restaurants etc. We enjoyed the terrace every day when we returned home before going out for dinner. The only suggestion I have (which is a very minor one) is to have bar soap available in the bathroom. I will certainly recommend this location to any friends or colleagues travelling to Florence. The apartment in Florence added to an overall wonderful experience. Being close to the Duomo was great! We enjoyed the spacious apartment and looked forward to spending late afternoons on the lovely terrace. Each day, after sightseeing, we came back to the apartment where we sat on the terrace sipping wine, reading, and just relaxing. The only "problem", and it wasn't much of one, was the rug under the table in the center of the room...it slips when you walk on it,. So we just folded up the corners onto the table legs and kept it out of our way. As I said, just a minor problem. We would definitely want to stay in this apartment if we return to Florence! The apartment was an excellent place to stay. The location was great, around the corner of the duomo in a pedestrianized street.The apartment was spacious and cosy. There was a lot of information and books of Florence. The balcony was beautifull. When we were there it was very hot, but with the airco (free of charge)the apartment was cool. In the morning and evening we could sit and eat at the balcony.

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful studio apartment. Although we found it necessary to change our stay, arriving a day early and leaving two days early in order to fit in a visit to Venice, Stefano was extremely accomadating and able to find a unit on short notice. It was perfectly located and close to everything. Stefano was also very helpful with information about the unit and about how to get around in the area. Florence was our favorite part of the trip and, assuming we can get back, we will definitely stay here again.

Two friends and I rented this apartment for a week in mid-July, and we had a great experience. Not only was the location perfect (a block or two away from the beautiful Duomo), but the apartment was also reasonably priced. The apartment itself was spacious and lovely (easily sleeps 5 people if you share beds). The BEST part was the amazing and large terrace. We had breakfast out there every morning, and wine and cheese in the evening; we could not have been happier with the terrace. The A/C worked perfectly (and this place had the best-functioning bathroom of any we had seen in Europe). The only downside was the wi-fi didn't work in our apartment, but it wasn't a big deal as there were several nearby internet cafes. In addition to all of the above, the owner was so gracious and helpful. When I go back to Italy, I am definitely going to stay at this apartment again.

Our stay in Florence was amazing. The apartment and it's location was perfect and very central. All the amenities were functional and adequate. The kitchen was small but fun to cook in. The balcony was a great place to enjoy our meals and the beds were great. Stepheno and his wife were very accomodating and made us feel at home. We loved the paintings and items in the hall ways and that added to our Italian experience. We will definately stay here again when we return. We loved Florence and our apartment. Thank you so much.
