Healy's Open Door Guesthouse was opened in the summer of 2007. This beautiful handcrafted building was the work of Mike Healy who has built numerous log homes and exclusive houses throughout his career.
Nicely decorated, fully furnished and equipped for your convenience, the guesthouse has 1 bedroom with queen bed, a bunkroom on the second floor with a semi-private sleeping area with a queen bed, and two queens and a single bed in the rest of the bunkroom. There are 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room with natural stone fireplace, patio with chairs and grill, satellite TV, walking paths on 14 acres, fire pit, close to beaches and boat launch. Ample parking.
Pat and Mike live on site in a handcrafted log home with their golden retrievers. Located in an area of log houses that is at the bottom of the Niagra Escarpment bluff, the land and setting are awesome and await your arrival.
Reservations for July through October must be a minimum of three nights.

Our party of 6 (grandparents, parents and kids) were all exceedingly pleased with the whole set-up. Charming house with real inventory(just as though someone was living there), friendly and discrete hosts, great dogs - the kids made great friends with them and everything was spotlessly clean. Outside was perfect for the kids with lots of space to play, BBQs and camp-fire. We are really experienced renters and therefore our 'excellent' should have some weight!
