Located in the Courtyard of Crystal Beach, "Banana Wind" is a custom built home that was completed December 2007. This 3 story, 7 bedroom, 5.5 bath home offers all the luxuries you could dream of then some!
With 3 Master suites, this home is perfect for multiple families. This home will sleep a MAXIMUM of 17 people (using the sofa bed in the living room). It also has 3 queen beds, a twin bed and a bunk bed. Most rooms offer access to the balconies or patio. TV's in every room, most with either DVD or VCR.
The lanai offers an gas BBQ grill and fireplace overlooking your own private pool. PLEASE NOTE*** THE POOL IS NOT AND CANNOT BE HEATED. Offering over 1330 sq. ft of balcony space, you always have a perfect view to enjoy your morning coffee or our beautiful sunsets! This home also offers 6 on-site parking spaces..very unusual for rental homes, but necessary for larger groups.
The kitchen is large enough for several people to work at once, and offers an original mosaic wall art backdrop. There is also a wetbar area with an additioanl icemaker offering clear ice for cocktails. There is an additional sitting area and wet bar located on the third floor.
Located directly across the street from the beach, beach access is a short 2 block walk away. In close proximity to all of Destin's attractions, you are only a short drive to Destin Commons Shopping Center, Silver Sands Outlet Mall, Big Kahunas Water Park, The Track Amusement Park, and many fine dining restaurants.

I could not have asked for a more perfect place. This was the most precious gift I could have given my husband. A stay at the Banana Wind, a beautiful house. Spacious enough to allow the gathering of family and many friends. This gathering allowed them to show and express their love. We had a fantastic time in this fabulous house with people from all over as we celebrated my husbands 70th birthday. It was truly an unforgettable weekend. (Copied from written guestbook in the home)

Unforgetable family vacation with our kids, extended families, grandkids, and friends. The scenery is wonderful...reminds me of my childhood birthplace overseas. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Everything is phenomenal. Destin is a place for getaway. relaxation, and rejuvenating. Thank you for having us, we appreciate the hospitality. This was an amazing house. Our visit will always be remembered. Everything was provided and everyone at McGee Properties were courteous. We will definitely rent Banana Wind again. Hopefully this is our annual Spring Break house. (Copied from written guestbook in the home)
