Beautiful first floor condo on Venice Island across from the public and county beaches with views of the ocean.
New laminate flooring, carpet, blinds and area rugs added December 2008. Newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom in 2006. Large bedroom with lots of storage. An additional storage room for more clothing and general storage, plus extra space with a vanity to get ready in the morning. View of ocean even while lying in bed! When the windows are open you can often hear the waves on the shore at night. Large expanse of ocean visible from lanai.
Great location with first floor access directly outside - - a huge perk for sunbathing, quick access, handicapped access, walking to laundry and pool, or just sitting outside and watching the ocean. Nicely decorated with comfortable layout for two or a few more people; condo is about 850 square feet. Roughly one mile from the Jetties - - the perfect spot to watch a storm or the sunset as well as walk, picnic, and fish. About two miles from the fishing pier near Sharky's, a local hot spot. One mile from downtown Venice and all its amenities. And kitty corner across the street from the public beach (with an historic, architect-designed pavillion) and from the county beach. The beach is right out your door without the congestion of the parking lot traffic - - it's an ideal location. Plus, its elevation puts you right in line with a great view of the water. Shopping and entertainment is close by and convenient. Covered parking spot is a huge perk during storms or hot sun.

- Deck/Patio : There is a patio at the club house. There's a small sidewalk outside unit that can be used for sunbathing, etc. but chairs need to be brought in at night.
- Lanai : Hurricane glass on lanai allows windows to be closed securely; it's not just screens. Door to the outside is heavy and has a deadbolt lock for safety. Lanai is completely private and has a sleep sofa and chairs. With access to the outdoors, it allows for convenient and easy sunbathing on the sidewalk/alcove outside with great views of the ocean to boot!

- Venice is known as the shark tooth capital of the world. People gather on Venice area beaches to find sharks teeth; they lie on their stomachs in the sand digging for them. The town of Venice is quaint and has all sorts of community activies including a gazebo in the park for concerts and entertainment; it has a fountain for kids to play in. Lots of shopping, antiques, and hospital close by.

Oct-Dec .. $2500/month. Can only be rented in 2-month intervals.
Deposit: $800 (non-refundable). Remaining amount due within 60 days of stay.
11% FL taxes added to total. $110 application fee (non-refundable)
If stay is cancelled within 60 days of stay, $800 will be deducted from refund.
If visit is cancelled within 30 days of stay, $1,200 will be deducted from refund
