This three-floor luxury vacation home newly constructed in 2008 is ideal for total relaxation or an infinite variety of year-round activities.
The Big Boulder/Lake Harmony area has so much to offer in the winter or summer. In winter, of course, there is skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing at Big Boulder Ski Area just 500 yards away. In the Summer, you will have access to Big Boulder Lake Mountain Club, featuring a scenic beach with a Tiki Bar as well as an outdoor adult and baby pool. Available at the beach club are: volleyball, tennis courts, a children’s playground, canoes, kayaks, and rowboats.
The Pocono area also has a wide variety of activities and attractions to enjoy: Bushkill Falls, white water rafting, golfing, boating, hiking, biking, rock climbing, bungee jumping, zip lining, and paintball. Close to our home is the famous Pocono International Raceway. Additionally there are great restaurants, outlet shopping, antiquing, casinos, and beautiful state parks. Within two miles of our home is the Split Rock Resort which includes an indoor water park, miniature golf and other sports activities.
This fully-equipped, impeccably furnished, 5 bedroom, 3½ bath home has a great floor plan and features upscale amenities throughout, including Pergo flooring, beautiful granite counter tops (kitchen, all bathrooms and fireplace hearths), stainless steel appliances, and wall to wall carpeting in each of the bedrooms and recreation area.
The main floor features the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom suite, sun room, powder room, and outdoor deck (accessible from the kitchen or sun room). The open floor plan makes this area perfect for entertaining. Enjoy dinners in the large dining area, have a casual breakfast at the kitchen bar or outside on the spacious deck.
The sun room and master bedroom suite are also on the main floor. These rooms share a remote-control gas fireplace and have a spectacular view of Big Boulder Lake and Ski Area. The sun room has direct access to the deck and is equipped with a 32” high definition flat screen TV and a DVD/VCR combination. The master bedroom suite has a beautiful queen-size bed and a magnificent private bathroom with whirlpool spa tub (for two) and a separate shower. Soak in the whirlpool spa tub and enjoy the view!
The upper and the lower level have two bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the other has two twin beds. The upper bedroom features a large desk with high speed internet access. All bedrooms have wall to wall carpeting, more than adequate closet space, and designer furniture. . Both the upper and lower level allow for complete privacy for guests.
The lower level also features an incredible game room complete with upscale amenities including a 46” flat screen HDTV with DVD and surround-sound home theater. Enjoy our library of DVDs on the plush wraparound sofa with room for the whole family. This amazing room has a beautiful 8-foot pool table, dartboard, ping-pong, & a card table that is perfect for card or board games (several provided). Go out back where there is a new stone circular patio with a barbecue and an outdoor fireplace. Enjoy the spectacular views of Big Boulder Lake and Ski Area. The mountain is especially stunning when lit for night skiing.

We are fun loving seniors who are recently retired and enjoy the out-of-doors especialy in the Poconos where it is usually much cooler than our home near Philadelphia.
Why the Owner Chose Big Boulder
Family recreation, investment and excellent family get away. We have two children and two grandchildren and our five bedroom home in the Poconos allows us to all be together.
The Unique Benefits of this House
There are many activities for the family. We like to ski and the kids enjoy the snow tubing. We love the Summer amenities at the lake. We have several golfers in the family and golf is wonderful in the mountains. It is truly a year round vacation home.

Just got back from a weekend (fri-sun) at this lake view house. The house is absolutely beautiful and was spotless when we arrived. All the bedrooms were beautiful and the game room in the basement was perfect for our group! The furniture and beds were super comfortable and the decor in the house was great. We would highly recommend renting this house for a family trip.
