This three-floor luxury vacation home is almost brand new and began renting January 2008. The house is ideal for total relaxation or an infinite variety of year-round activities. This is also the closest rental property to Big Boulder Ski Resort (about 500 yards to the Lodge).
This fully-equipped, impeccably furnished, 5 bedroom, 3½ bath home has a great floor plan and features upscale amenities throughout, including Pergo flooring, beautiful granite counter tops (kitchen, all bathrooms and fireplace hearths), and wall to wall carpeting in each of the bedrooms and recreation area.
The main floor features the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom suite, sun room, powder room, and outdoor deck (accessible from the kitchen or sun room). The open floor plan makes this area perfect for entertaining. Enjoy dinners in the large dining area, have a casual breakfast at the kitchen bar, sit outside on the spacious deck after barbecuing on the outdoor gas grill, or simply relax around the remote-control gas fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped with every amenity, featuring cherry cabinets, granite counter tops, and state of the art stainless steel appliances.
The sun room and master bedroom suite are also on the main floor. These rooms share a remote-control gas fireplace and have a spectacular view of Big Boulder Lake and Ski Area. The sun room has direct access to the deck and is equipped with a TV and VCR. The master bedroom suite has a beautiful queen-size bed, CD player, and a magnificent private bathroom with whirlpool spa tub (for two) and a separate shower. Soak in the whirlpool spa tub and enjoy the view!
The upper level has two bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the other has two twin beds and a desk with high speed internet access. All bedrooms have wall to wall carpeting, more than adequate closet space, and brand new designer furniture.
The lower level also has two bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, and other has two twin beds. Both the upper and lower level allow for complete privacy for guests. The lower level also features an incredible game room complete with brand new upscale amenities including a 46” Flat Screen HDTV with DVD and Surround-Sound Home Theater. Enjoy our growing library of DVDs on the plush wraparound sofa with room for the whole family. This amazing room has a beautiful 8-foot pool table, dartboard, ping-pong, & a card table that is perfect for poker or board games (several provided). Go out back and enjoy the outdoor fireplace and the spectacular views of Big Boulder Lake and Ski Area. The mountain is especially stunning when lit for night skiing.
The Big Boulder/Lake Harmony area has so much to offer in the winter or summer. Of course, there is skiing, snowboarding, and tubing at Big Boulder Ski Area just 500 yards away. You will also have access to Big Boulder Lake Mountain Club, featuring an outdoor pool (and kids pool), volleyball, tennis, playground, and of course the scenic beach on the lake. Canoes, kayaks, and rowboats are available for your enjoyment.
The Pocono area has an unbelievable array of activities and attractions to enjoy: Bushkill Falls, numerous public golf courses, boating, hiking, biking, great restaurants, outlet shopping, antiquing, casinos, state parks, and the Pocono International Raceway.
