This home is completely remodeled & ready for you to enjoy your vacation in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Just 20 minutes to Aspen or 15 minutes to Glenwood Springs. When you come back from skiing, fishing, hiking, biking, golfing, site seeing, shopping or just enjoying the amazing mountains you will feel like you are home. This home sits on a half acre so it is very quiet yet just minutes to the local movie theatre, tons of new restaurants and shopping plus the large grocery store. Great neighborhood to walk around on the trail.
Inside features a fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need plus a BBQ outside. Plus a breakfast bar with 3 bar stools. The dining area seats seven and looks out onto the backyard, hot tub, koi pond & waterfall. Relax in the large living room with a cozy gas fireplace. The couch in the living room also pulls out into a queen size bed.
Upstairs there's a master suite featuring two walk-in closets, travertine gas fireplace, queen size bed with down comforter, plus a TV with cable channels, DVD and VCR players. The attached master bath is all new with double sinks and separate shower. All the bedrooms and living room feature ceiling fans.
One guest bedroom has a queen size bed with a down comforter and the other guest bedroom has 2 twin beds both are tastefully furnished with views of the backyard and pond. Listen to the sound of the waterfall as you drift off to sleep. There is also a Queen blow up mattress with linens if needed. There's a comfy couch in the family room upstairs to watch Cable TV or a movie on our DVD & VCR players. A library of movies, books, music and games are available for your enjoyment. We also have wireless interenet available - so bring those laptops. Plus a portable crib, high chair & stroller & toys are there if needed. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer plus plenty of parking.

My husband and I own this vacation property and combined have lived in the area for 20 years. We feel so lucky to live here and to be able to raise our children in such a special place as the beautiful rocky mountains.
Why the Owner Chose Carbondale
The Rocky Mountains are an amazing place, not just for winter and the world class snow skiing & snow boarding but the summer months are spectacular with hiking, fishing, golfing, etc. Not to mention the amazing springs flowers and the fall colors. Year round, this home always makes you feel like you are on vacation.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The home is very comfortable and relaxing. We've stayed at the home many times with our children and they feel like they are on vacation even though we are only 5 minutes from home. The koi fish in the pond, waterfall and hot tub are the biggest hits. Plus there is a horseshoe pit and a green house they like to use as a play house. I love the home because the kitchen looks out onto the backyard so I can watch the kids play. We also love the family room upstairs where we can cozy up and watch movies. My husband and I sit out on the morning deck and drink our tea as the sun rises over the mountains. We walk our Golden Retreiver along the paths and around the neighborhood. The flowers are spectacular and we can also see Mt. Sopris from the home.

We had so-o-o much fun staying in this lovely home. We celebrated Mrgan's 7h birthday. Mark was home for mid-tour from Iraq. We celebrated being a family. We saw two bears, a mama & baby. The baby climbed up the apple tree and had a feast. We will come back! Thanks from our family.

We enjoyed our stay here; the garden is lovely and the koi pond with its waterfall is so relaxing. Great house - great time; we wish we could stay longer. However, we will have shared memories and lots of pictures to remind us for years to come.

From guest book: We had a fantastic time! Our 3 1/2 and 21 month old boys love this "mountain house!" They especially loved feeding the koi fish. They named the big yellow fish "Harry", "Red Dot" for the little yellow one with the red dot, "Blackie" for the big black one & "Ms. Piggy" for the multi-colored one who ate the most food! Thank you for the fabulous bonding time with my family & grandsons! PS We especially enjoyed your beautiful flowers, foliage & greenery!!!
