The recently completed Villa has 4 master suites, each with there own full baths, plus 2 -1/2 baths downstairs and can accommodate 8 people. The Villa's extra large kitchen and bar sitting area, along with the beautiful dining area should satisfy your every need. The Villa's sunken living room with full glass sliding doors to a spectacular covered patio overlooking the pool and gardens will make it hared to ever leave this property. Casita A has 2 master suites each with their own full baths plus 1/2 bath downstairs and a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room can accommodate 4 people. Year Purchased: 2004
Fell in LOVE with Isla in 1999' when first was introduced by my girlfriend Julie. My husband and I purchased something on that trip, which led into the building of our wonderful, "Casa de las Palmas" - a dream come true! We love Isla and think of it as our home. We love sharing our "beautiful oasis" with all our family and friends (and new friends)! We are an active, athletic and personable family, who enjoys quality of life with family and friends. Please visit our "oasis" for yourself to see what we LOVE and enjoy!
Why the Owner Chose Isla Mujeres
We wanted something safe, fun, beautiful Caribbean/Gulf waters, along with good medical and modern conveniences. Isla is not only all of that, but more. We decided on this property to build and make our own because of the constant cool breeze and beautiful views.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
We built the 2 casita's and the pool and gardens first. The main Villa was just finished in April 2009 and was a vision after the fact that we were going to build 2 more identical casita's, when I thought with our large family it would be fun to knock out the wall and make one big Villa. With all 3 units on one property we can now house not only our family, but other friends as well. Everyone seems to never want to leave the pool and gardens. We have spent countless hours on the outdoor covered patio's and have had several BBQ's on our outdoor bbq with a lot of fresh fish. Another big hit is my new massage table! Wonderful massage therapists abound on Isla, and my family and friends love a massage under the palapa. It is truly like being in your own "private" estate with all the conveniences of home! Each suite is tastefully decorated and equipped.

My family and I stayed at Casa de las Palmas in June. We have been to Hawaii and Costa Rica, both of which we loved. But we all agreed that the 9 days at Cas de las Palmas on Isla Mujeres was the BEST vacation we have ever taken based on the variety of unique experiences we had. Among the highlights were swimming with the whale sharks, Dolphin Discovery, Garrafon Park, watching the sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs and wrestling a lobster out of his lair. The snorkeling was great with the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the Carribean on the other. One day I saw a school of over 200 fish with at least 5 different species. We also took a trip to an underground river, on the mainland, called Rio Secreto. Casa de las Palmas itself is one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed! The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is wonderful- our kids didn't want to get out. The owners, Karl and Sandra, are the nicest people and can tell you the best places to eat. Our recommendation is the french toast at the French Bistro in town- the best you'll ever eat! I could go on and on about the place and the friendly people on the island but you'll just have to see for yourselves. I can tell you our 11 and 14 year old boys are still talking about the vacation.
