Excellent Nice Apartment

This place is as advertised if not a little better than advertised. Right on Ave Jean Medecin, which is right in the middle of everything. A great wrap around patio offers incredible views. The place itself was clean, nicely decorated and with lots of little things that help, Wifi, washer, inflatable rafts and umbrellas for the beach, lots of dvd;s. Everything with the rental went smooth. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great location in Nice, Cote d'Azur

We just returned to Canada, and wanted to say how much we enjoyed the Apartment Lafayette in Nice. It was a great location (especially for people-watching), bright and clean, with everything we needed to make our week in Nice wonderful. There were 2 couples and we didn't feel cramped at all. The SNCF train has a ticket office just across the street, so we were able to beat the line-ups at the train station, there was a MonoPrix grocery department in the Galleries Lafayette across the street, and lots of small, good cafes if we didn't want to cook. Jayne, the property manager, was helpful and friendly. We would recommend this property.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Thanks Linda and Cecelia for a wonderful stay at the Apartment Lafayette in February. We could not have hoped for a better location. It was perfect for our girls getaway, ideal home base for Carnival festivities and for exploring all of Nice and the surrounding towns. It was convenient to all modes of transportion and within short walking distance to Nice's top attractions: Cours Saleya and the beach! We really enjoyed having cocktail hours in the apartment while we prepared to go out to one of the many nearby delicious restaurants. We were also able to have cozy dinners in the apartment on a couple of rainy nights. The apartment accommodated the three of us very comfortably for more than a week. Jayne made sure everything was in pristine condition and gave us a very warm welcome. We also really appreciated the wine and the milk to start us off. If we ever find ourselves in Nice again, we would definitely stay here. Until then, we will recommend Apartment Lafayette to all our friends.

Family mini-vacation with 5 year old & infant

We decided to go to Nice during off-peak season at the very last minute. This apt was a perfect location which is in the center of all the locations one would want to see. Also, it was so easy to go back to the apt for a re-loading of the diaper bag, etc. The apt felt so comforting. We were all very pleased. I was able to do a bit of cooking in the fully equiped kitchen, since a large grocery store was just up the block. Breakfast was on the terrace every morning. Their agent was so kind and helpful. The only negative aspect was the size of the charming building elevator. We had to fold our stroller to fit it in. However, that was it. Only an inconvenience of 10 seconds. We would definitely recommend this apt. Also, we got a big kick out of seeing the apt on postcards of Nice and telling people that we actually stayed there!

Perfect apartment

We had a wonderful time right in the heart of the city, walking everywhere was so easy. 10 minutes to everywhere. The apartment was very well equiped, clean, spacious and we had a real safe feel about staying there. Our greater was very helpful with local information and also offered us a very good car service deal to the airport on our departure. We loved Nice and it's surroundings and we will be returning and hope that it is available again for us.

Chose this sunny apartment for our family's first visit to Nice. Everything worked out great. Our 2 young children had their own room with separate beds and there was plenty of space for all of us. The location is superb- 10 min walk to the beach; public transportation, dept. store and grocery all located within minutes of the front door. We will stay here again- the location can't be beat and with great public transport steps away we saved on car rental fees. Functional kitchen allowed us to have several meals in. There is a washing machine but allow plenty of time for a load of clothes; The European models take almost 2 hours but get the job done. Native English speaking property manager was a great help and offered tons of great suggestions.
