Nestled among tall pines and grand boulders on the crest of the mountain overlooking the south end of Lake Tahoe; a private deck, a steaming jacuzzi and a beautiful sunset await your arrival. Decorated in firehouse theme, this charming 1250 square foot townhome is just minutes away from the Heavenly ski slopes.

UPSTAIRS: two bedroom, 1 queen bed in each bedroom, a small loft in one bedroom fits three kids in sleeping bags, a full bath between, and a washer/dryer combo in a closet.
DOWNSTAIRS: a well equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, half bath, living room, an old-fashioned woodburning stove, a new sofa, 2 new leather recliners, a fire-patch collection, a BBQ, a private piping-hot jacuzzi on the deck and awesome views.
DAVE and SUE WRITE, "I just wanted to let you know how much we loved staying at The Fire Place. The view was absolutely beautiful and the hot tub very relaxing. Even though Dave's not a fireman, we thought the decor was so neat and creative. It really adds to the condo. We appreciated all of the instructions and little signs throughout the condo, too. You've anticipated any questions that anyone might have. In addition, all of the cleaning supplies made cleaning up so easy. Everything was great; we wouldn't change a thing. THE FIRE PLACE offers privacy while allowing access to many other venues of entertainment. Nearby is our favorite sports pub, THE FOX & HOUND (great pizza and beer!!!) Except for a small convenience store/video rental, there are no other commercial venues up there. A seven minute drive down to lake level puts you in touch with casinos, restaurants and shopping. The Fire Place is a one hour drive from the Reno Airport, other good skiing areas are 30-60 minutes away. A real treat is DAVID WALLY'S HOT SPRINGS SPA down on Hwy 50; a five star resort built around natural hot springs, pools, steam baths, sauna, message and a fabulous restaurant.
KITCHEN AMENITITES: dishwasher, microwave, crockpot, blender, glassware, dishes, cookware and utensils. Food is served on a kitchen bar. A bird feeder right outside the kitchen window lets you watch little and sometimes big critters, first hand. We have seen bears, racoons, squirrels and birds. Bring firewood, birdseed and a sense of adventure.
