We (three couples) rented this lovely home in the fall. The accomodations are wonderful: large bedrooms with king beds and private baths. They are situated in different parts of the house so we all had private space. The kitchen and living area are perfect for gathering! The weather was wet and cool so we were unable to enjoy the deck, which has a beautiful view of the Whitefish lake. The house in is great condition. It was a perfect place to stay! Thanks to Anna for all her help making our stay so enjoyable,

Our wonderful stay in Whitefish was made even more fantastic due to our place of stay. We loved this vacation home! It was inviting, very clean and large enough for us and our 13 year old twins. The beds were so comfortable. It truly was a beautiful place that turned into our "temporary" home for our stay. Anna was just the sweetest and most accommodating person to work with! Thank you so much!

We had a great time in Whitefish! The rental was perfect for our needs. With three couples, the three master suites with king beds and private bathrooms were cherished. Our 7 year-old loved the bunk beds and our toddler enjoyed the pack-n-play in the spacious walk-in closet. We prepared the majority of our meals at the house, the kitchen was well equipped with all the comforts of home. Dining on the deck was our favorite time of day. The location of the home was great, very easy to find and very quiet. It's a short ride up to the Whitefish Mountain Resort, the kids loved the Alpine slide and gondola ride to the top of Big Mountain. Downtown Whitefish is just 2 minutes away, the Whitefish Lodge has great food and cocktails. Tupelo Grill was excellent if you're looking for something a little more upscale. Also, if you're there in the summer months, check out the Farmers Market. The home was in excellent shape, very clean and welcoming. Anna, the property manager, was also very helpful in the planning of our trip, thank you, Anna! If we ever go back to Whitefish, this is where we want to stay. We highly recommend the Sunset Ridge home.

The property is better than described! Nestled in the forest, it was perfect for our three-adult couples; close enough to Whitefish, but out of the hustle-bustle of tourism. The house’s physical layout was also ideal; everyone had their own privacy as the bedrooms are on opposite ends or located on the lower level; with common areas (living room, kitchen and dinning room) between for relaxation, conversation and camaraderie. We didn’t experience any of the hot water issues noted by others, but perhaps we just planned better with that thought in mind. Clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Our rental was for the wedding week of our son. The three bedrooms provided separation for our two other adult children's families (which meant that as hosts, we did not have the largest "master" bedroom as the master has a bunk bed with a double sized lower and a single top). As hosts, we had a slightly smaller, but fine, bedroom on the main floor just off the living room to the right in the picture. Great mattresses! Our objective was to have a house comfortable for our family but which could accommodate many coming and going wedding guests who might stop by in the common areas. This worked very well with the open kitchen, living room and deck all melding together for a group of about 30 one evening. One note: this is a split level house with the entry between levels. One guest was in a wheelchair which we did manage to get up to the living level with some strong men. The property was in great shape and easy to maintain. A Safeway was a direct shot about 3 miles away on the main road from Whitefish. We didn't manage to get the living room TV to broadcast mode, but had little time for that anyway. A second TV and internet access on the lower level were used by children and connecting adults. The chairlift up the mountain, a float trip from West Glacier, Glacier Park, a boat rental on the Lake were all things guests enjoyed in mild early August weather. Very pleasant Anna was helpful with questions before and during the stay. Anna the hostess/cleaner is a hoot – she said that she wouldn’t stay and watch the Super Bowl with 6 guys because she gets to excited – She is efficient and helpful. Size – We had room for six 50-60 year old ski bums with no complaining and only minimal snoring noises. The Kitchen was great with access to both sides of the bar and lots of counter space. All the essentials were there. I had a huge closet in the basement – I think that it could have doubled for another bedroom. Proximity – Soooo close to the Big Mountain road. What a plus to be able to be on the mountain in 10-15 minutes The garages are great with 8’ high doors so that we could drive in with the ski racks on my Trooper. It is such a bonus to have a garage. Last year we rented one without and so I really appreciated it. Cleanliness - Spotless Beds – I had the downstairs bedroom and the bed was scrumptious. I even heard reports that the hide- a- beds were great. One of the guys did put a piece of plywood under the mattress in the futon though. Treats – The basket of treats was a very nice touch. We ate some while we watched TV and took some skiing with us. I agree with another reviewer who suggested some sort of recycling facilitation. One suggestion is to check the programing of the thermostat which was set about 12 hours out of phase. Well furnished, lovely decor. Had all the amenities for our grand children from sippy cups to crib. Very spacious for everyone in the family. Plenty of towels, blankets and bedding. Close to ski hill and down town Whitefish. Did run out of hot water a couple of times in the morning.....but could of been prevented if we were more cautious at this time. The property is well maintained and friendly service. We recommend this place to everyone!!! We spent Christmas with our family in this lovely house - very warm and comfortable, cozy fireplace, great very well equipped kitchen, luxurious beds and lots and lots of snow. It was a beautiful Christmas to remember and Ana and Charla were helpful and kind. They had Christmas there waiting for us when we arrived. Thanks to you both. The house is fabulous! We will be return renters for this house. It had everything we needed and wanted at a reasonable price with great service. Well done Anna! It is exactly as advertised. Large enough to accomodate several families, clean, well supplied with kitchen utensils, and plenty of towels and linens. The decks are great - we spent most mornings and evenings enjoying the lake view and mountain setting. The AC worked great, and that was a blessing for us south coasters who live on AC in the summer. The DVD collection is great for the car rides to and from the Park. The house is close enough to Whitefish to walk into town for the hardy (about 3 miles) on the newly constructed bikepath. An added bonus was the deer(s) that frequented the area and the house. Anna provided exceptional service from booking to check-in - we were able to get in a bit early, even though the previous people had just left that morning. The goodies basket is great - some snacks to tide you over after a long day of traveling until you can get to the store for supplies. She even left a note warning us about a potential storm in the area that evening. The bedrooms are nicely separated for privacy; and the king beds are very comfortable. There is plenty of closet and storage space, even for multiple families. The large kitchen island allows for many hands to help with dinners - always welcome when eating-in on vacation. What could be better? Not much, but here are a couple of items: 1) Our six adults used up the hot water pretty quick - the 3 men had a couple of Montana cold water showers when we all tried to get ready within an hours time. We learned how to manage that as the week continued. 2) The bedroom over the garage (east side) is bright in the early, and I do mean early, morning in the summer. Darker or heavier blinds would be good for those wanting to sleep past 6 a.m. in the summer. and a suggestion: 1) Recycling would be great. We recognize recycling is not easy in the Whitefish - Kalispell area, but I think many renters would be pleased if there was some way to recycle cans, plastic, and glass. Room to spread out! We had more than enough room to spread out as the 3 bedrooms are located at opposite ends of the house. Beds were wonderful; everything clean as a whistle; great location. Will definitely try to book again. Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers Original review on homeaway WEB site, rental #p183164

Great Place. We loved it. It was perfect for our family gettogether. We came from three different states and couldn't have been happier. The location was great for everything we wanted to do, the house was so clean and gave everyone their own space. We enjoyed the deck alot and spent a good amoung of time out there. The info the owner sent on things to do was especially helpful. We did do a fair amount of cooking and could have used some baking dishes, 9x13 pan etc. otherwise we were completely satisfied!!! Anna at the reservations desk was delightful as well as helpful. Thanks so much to all of you.
