We have been saying at Island View for about 10 years and we love it. We not only love the cabins but the surrounding area. We also like the people who own it, they are so friendly as is everyone in the U.P.

Beautiful, relaxing,serene....this extraordinary world known as the Les Cheneaux Islands is our home away from home. My love of the U.P. and the Island View Resort has now been passed on to my husband and children making my family the fifth generation of "Makeshift Yoopers". There is no better place in Cedarville to spend your vacation than Island View. The cabins are updated and beautiful, the dock is perfect for any boat, the beach is very well kept and clean, and the view of the channel couldn't be any better. I could go on but as you can see, I love this place! After 35 summers in a row, I'd better:)Thank you Larry and Jackie!!!

My husband and I had many relaxing and memorable times at Island View. There are so many interesting places to go and things to do within the surrounding area. We introduced many of our friends to the resort and they were immensely impressed. I still go there once or twice a year to relax and visit the wonderful owners and the many friends I acquired there over the years.

We have stayed at this resort every summer for 25 years. The cabins are clean and nicely decorated and furnished with everything you need. There is a beautiful view of the lake, and it is a peaceful and relaxing place to vacation. Children have a fun time. The owners are great to work with.
