  Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids had plenty of space in this place. It was nice to be away from the city and so close to snorkeling sites. We enjoyed having a simple kitchen to cook our simple meals. The furniture is a little worn but still usable. The beach towels have seen better days, but that's not a deal breaker. If you want peace and quiet and a restful vacation, this is it.

  My husband, mom, and I arrived at the property on 3/10 for a three-night stay. The condo was filthy upon arrival - dirty floors (had to put our shoes back on), sticky handrails, ants in the kitchen, and there was a nice layer of dust on the ceiling fans. My mom's bed's sheets were stained. There was also a huge hole in the back of the loveseat, hidden by a throw. We stayed just long enough to find someplace else to stay (ended up having to go clear back to Waikiki). Emailed the owner upon our departure, explaining what we were experiencing. We included photos and asked for a refund of our cleaning fee (it was dirty when we got there and we left after 2 hours - seemed only fair) and any other concession she deemed appropriate. She'd been very good about email communication up until this point. We didn't hear anything back until five days later, after a second email from us asking for a full refund of our rental fee due to the state of the rental and no proposed solution on her part. She responded with one sentence, refusing to refund anything other than our security deposit and still not addressing the situation we had reported. She has since also been non-responsive to our other questions and requests for clarification re: a full refund as per the rental agreement. We've lived on the north shore and have stayed in many Kuilima rentals, so we're familiar with island life and island decor...this was by far the worst maintained rental we've been to. If you go, be aware the place really needs to be painted, and the furniture is old and faded and worn. The small appliances are past their useful life and also aren't terribly clean. We wouldn't recommend this rental.

  Owner response: The only part of the review that is not tirivial is the hole in the upholstery on the BACK of the sofa which is being repaired.. I feel the tenant was looking for excuses to not stay there. She never phoned me. I live minutes away and could have addressed any perceived problems.

  Don’t waste your money staying at a hotel; renting a condo is the way to go. This condo is walking distance to the Resort / Beach and golf is right out the back door. There is a pool a few steps from the front door. It was a very nice accommodation. Also the Beds are very comfortable.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  The condominium is spacious and well- equipped. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room to move around. The condo was very clean and tidy. The Kuilima estate is very nice, with swimming pools and tennis courts. Our condo looks out to the golf course. It's close to the Turtle Bay Resort, so we were able to dine at their restaurants and use other facilities. The North Shore of Oahu is a very nice area, with lovely beaches and parks, and it is less crowded.

  This property was a perfect fit for my family of 6 adults and two infants. It was a wonderful weekend getaway spent at this condo. Property is clean and well kept. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils and glasses. The owner was very helpful and replied to my questions prior to our stay right away and the transaction was smooth from start to finish. Check-in was quick and easy. The lock box is a great idea! The pool was so convenietly right outside the front door for our family to enjoy. The living room had a lovely breeze when the sliding doors of both lanais, front and back were open. The high speed internet and TV worked great. Our family would come back to stay at this property again!

  This is the 5th condo rental we have done at Turtle Bay. So I will compare this with our previous rentals. In summary . . . great value for the money. In detail . . . this 3 bedroom unit has much more square footage than a 2 bedroom with loft. The appliances were the best of any condo we have rented. Check-in was quick and easy. The lock box is a great idea. No problems with ants or roaches. The trade winds provided wonderful breezes throughout the condo. No need for air conditioning. The Pack-n-Play in the condo saved us from buying one in Hawaii. The shower was clean and powerful in the master bedroom. The pool is right outside the front door. Most of the time we had it to ourselves in the afternoon. Never any noise that distrubed us. The high speed internet and TV worked great. The furniture was standard for these condos. Rent a delux condo if you want fine furnishings.

  GREAT CONDO and LOCATION! Away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu but close enough to go there if you want too. Convenient to Shark's cove,Waimeha Valley and Beach, PCC, etc. Turtle Bay is within walking distance with lovely beaches and amenities if you don't feel like driving. Condo is large and spacious. View from condo is spectacular and pool is a few steps away. Sandra was very pleasant to deal with and responded to questions in a timely manner. Mahola for wonderful memories of Oahu!

  Family including 2 little granddaughters enjoyed the weekend. Convenient location, good facilities, well stocked kitchen and nice owner who even reminded us about the beach towels in the closet! Tip: Turtle Bay security guard will let you drop off guests at beach so you don't have to incur parking fees.

  The owners are outstanding, they went out of there way to make sure we were taken care of. The location was outstanding, we enjoyed being away from the crowds and the North Shore is just that. Would definetly go back
