Enjoy a morning beverage and look out over the ever changing lake. You may be greeted by a Great Blue Heron, or many species of ducks or geese. Fish from the 60 foot long dock or drop your kayak or canoe in from the beach and enjoy 80 plus miles of lake shoreline.
Inside you will find new updated furnishings throughout, warm baseboard heat and wall to wall carpeting to keep the chill off in winter months. Real wood wainscot walls and ceiling throughout. Large living room with satellite TV, VCR/DVD, stereo and WI/FI high speed internet hookup.
Short drive to Bristol Mt - downhill/nordic skiing. Well located to all central/western New York downhill ski areas.
Watkins Glen - village and race track approximately 40 minutes South. SCCA, NASCAR, IRL and many summer events for roadrace fans and families.
Several year round top quality restaurants within a few miles, all offering superb dining with outstanding menus and well matched wines. Lakeside Hideaway is located on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail which features over 30 wineries. The Keuka Wine Trail and Cayuga Wine Trail are located close by on adjoining lakes and each include 30 plus wineries.
Local spots: Hobart and William Smith Colleges - Geneva, NY. Seneca Falls, NY just 10 miles east, is home to the Women's National Park and Museum and New York Chiropractic College. Ithaca, NY is approximately 45 minutes away and a beautiful drive anytime of year. Ithaca - "the definition of college town atmosphere" - has much to offer - home to Cornell University and Ithaca College. Don't forget to stop at the Rongovian Embassy in Trumansburg,NY on your way - it's a unique experience.
