Lalande is a tranquil one bedroom apartment with a spacious stylish feel, on the second floor of a traditional Parisian building. Located in a narrow residential road just off Rue Daguerre, one of Paris' most attractive market streets, it provides easy access to all of Paris' main attractions either by foot or nearby Metro.

Year Purchased: 2007
I am first and foremost a lover of Paris, a lady whose three children are just flying the nest now. My career has been in building and construction, starting out as an engineer, but moving towards management with a foray into acoustics as a specialism. But I have found a great deal more pleasure in offering this apartment for rental than I ever have during my career, because it is such a personal activity, and I come into contact with so many different interesting people.
Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 14
I chose this location because it has everything I needed right on the doorstep, and because there is a real community in the area, which is typically Parisian. In fact it was very strange, because I spent quite a few visits staying in hotels in different parts of Paris, to experience what they were like. One evening when I flew in from London into Orly and got off the Orlybus to walk down Rue Daguerre to find my hotel, I felt an overwhelming feeling of coming home. It was so bizzarre - I said to myself it was ridiculous - but six months later I was a property owner there, and I still feel the same relief of homecoming every time I return....

Thank you for a lovely stay in your apartment. Plenty of room and facilities were great. All very clean. The apartment is in a very handy location for Metro and RER trains. Made full use of the Paris Tours Pass. A must to have. Good local shopping with all the foods you would ever need, and not far to carry them !!

It was warm and cozy (during a very cold winter), very well equipped, quiet, and conveniently situated. We found you to be a generous and responsive "proprietaire". We lacked nothing. It was wonderful to live in an apartment that "worked", where we could invite friends for lunch, use the convenient buses, metro and RER to move around in Paris. We have had 11 wonderful days at the end of June in Paris. The apartment is great with lots of space and nicely equipped. It has been a pleasure to do our own cooking, enjoying breakfast in the morning, with dinners with a bottle of red wine.
