Tidewood can be enjoyed by those seeking adventure, or those seeking rest and rejuvenation. Enjoy a walk to town, a round of golf at The Links at Sea Ranch just a 5 minute drive away, or sightseeing up the coast to nearby Pt. Arena and Mendocino. Just relaxing on the sun-bathed deck with a beverage and good book suits most people just fine.
The views from Tidewood are spectacular. Deep water allows whales and their babies to come in close to the cliffs. Watch the ships on the horizon, fishing trawlers pass by or the flocks of silent pelicans skim the coastline. Tidewood is located off Highway 1, so there is no highway noise, and it's an easy and safe walk to the town of Gualala for groceries, trinket shopping or dining.
There are three bedrooms, two of which have queen beds, and the third has two twins. Bathrooms are all down the hall. The "front" bedroom has the ocean view, the garden room has a private deck and the twin bed room has a forest view. There is a full media setup, satellite TV, and music choices. The gas fireplace creates a cozy setting in the evenings or in the winter. Although Tidewood is an ideal vacation spot during the summer, it's even better when it's storming outside! The ocean is amazing in all its moods.

- Swimming in the summer in the Gualala River estuary. Abalone diving up and down the coast for experienced divers only. Swimming in the ocean not recommended in Gualala. Anchor Bay - 4 miles north - has a more accessible beach. Gualala is best known for beachcombing. Great flatwater canoeing up the Gualala River. Walk to town without going on the highway. Quiet location!!

$100 refundable deposit (if reservation is cancelled 14 days prior to arrival).
Total amount is due 14 days prior to arrival, $500 cancellation within 14 days.
