Lovely beach bungalow with elevated ocean views and private location creates the perfect getaway. 'Tidewood' has been completely renovated with new kitchen, baths, hot tub, furnishings, including crisp linens and down comforters. Muted palette of paint colors includes seaglass green and driftwood taupe. Furnishings are new and chosen for their comfort and flexibility.
Tidewood can be enjoyed by those seeking adventure, or those seeking rest and rejuvenation. Enjoy a walk to town, a round of golf at The Links at Sea Ranch just a 5 minute drive away, or sightseeing up the coast to nearby Pt. Arena and Mendocino. Just relaxing on the sun-bathed deck with a beverage and good book suits most people just fine.
The views from Tidewood are spectacular. Deep water allows whales and their babies to come in close to the cliffs. Watch the ships on the horizon, fishing trawlers pass by or the flocks of silent pelicans skim the coastline. Tidewood is located off Highway 1, so there is no highway noise, and it's an easy and safe walk to the town of Gualala for groceries, trinket shopping or dining.
There are three bedrooms, two of which have queen beds, and the third has two twins. Bathrooms are all down the hall. The 'front' bedroom has the ocean view, the garden room has a private deck and the twin bed room has a forest view. There is a full media setup, satellite TV, and music choices. The gas fireplace creates a cozy setting in the evenings or in the winter. Although Tidewood is an ideal vacation spot during the summer, it's even better when it's storming outside! The ocean is amazing in all its moods.

This property has amazing ocean views from the family room, dining room, master bedroom, kitchen and the deck. I have stayed there with family and friends a number of times and will come back again. Absolutely one of the best rental deals in Gualala!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners.

2 night minimum .. $299/night for 2-6 nights. 1 week or more ... $229/night. $100 refundable deposit (if reservation is cancelled 14 days prior to arrival). Total amount is due 14 days prior to arrival, $500 cancellation within 14 days. All payments will be processed through Property Manager, "Coasting Home." Holiday rates are the same, so book early!
