  This apartment is at the top of the fourth floor, which, for us was not a problem. The location is fantastic. Subway line right around the corner and a short walk to the the red line. We never used anything except the subway. Only exception was the car ride from the airport. Check in does make you nervous, having to go to separate building, paying and then getting the keys, but it worked out. The only negative was the fold out couch broke with a bolt coming off when opening it. We called and left messages and they were not returned until the night before we left, so the couch was not fixed. Luckily, I had my two small children on it but it was a big pain to try to open and close it. By the time the phone call was returned, it was too late to fix it for out stay. Don't expect anything fancy. It was clean. I would stay in these apartments again. The location can't be beat. The neighborhood was fairly quiet, for New York. We felf safe walking in the neighborhood at night and during the day. There are shops and small grocery stores nearby and within walking distance. Live like a New Yorker! Great travel experience to share with my children.

  We stayed in the Elizabeth apartment on 71st street. We were in town to participate in the More Women’s half marathon race. The location of the apartment was fantastic. We were able to walk to and from the race start/finish lines within minutes. We could not have asked for a better location close to great restaurants, shopping and of course, Central Park was only 1/2 a block away. I would most definately recommend staying here. I will again in a heartbeat. Thanks Veronica!

  Spotlessly clean with extremely helpful and responsive management. Answered all our questions by email promptly and helpfully. A few little problems with the unit were tended to right away with courtesy. Can't beat the location. walk to museums, convenient to #1 subway, steps from all necessary businesses, great neighborhood. Would definitely stay with this management again.

  My wife and I have stayed in 2 apts at this site and have excellent experiences with both visits. The location is wonderful--convenient access to several subway lines, easy walking to excellent restaurants, food stores, and entertainment. The apartments were clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Highly recommended for those seeking alternate to noisy, cramped, and pricey hotels.

  Apartment exactly as shown on web site. Clean, comfortable and warm accommodation, very good location and excellent value for money given the prices of hotels in the city. Staff very helpful - email booking and picking up the keys worked very well. Small point - the enamel on the bath needs to be re done, but there was plenty of hot water, and we had everything we needed for a great stay. Thanks very much

  This apartment has a GREAT location.... 1/2 block to Central Park....subway around the corner.....wonderful restaurants, deli's and stores on Columbus and Amsterdam Ave's. Short subway ride to everything. The Upper West Side is a marvelous neighborhood, you really feel like a local. Highly recommended.

  The property is exactly as advertised. It's a very convenient location close to restaurants, Central Park and the subway. It's very tight for 4 people, however. I recommend it for two people unless you are really focused on cost savings. As long as you are reasonably fit the climb up two flights of stairs isn't bad.

  We loved our stay in the apartment in September 2010. We wanted to experience life as a "New Yorker", and the brownstone building, fantastic location and real village feel certainly gave us that. We were two couples, and the apartment was a good size for the 4 of us. The bedrooms were smallish, but so are all bedrooms in NY. The apartment was clean and tidy, well furnished and had all the amenities we needed. The location was outstanding- minutes from Central Park, close to the subway or a cheap cab trip to the centre of the city. We really enjoyed stepping out of the building into NY life, eating at the local diners, watching families taking the dog for a walk, taking kids to the park and getting to and from their jobs. A far better experience than just a hotel foyer. The experience was also very cost competitive- it worked out much cheaper for the 4 of us to share the apartment (2 double bed rooms) rather than 2 hotel rooms. We were on the first floor- there is no elevator- so we were glad we were not any higher. The only slight problem we had was finding out which apartment was ours- on the internet they are named "King Lear" etc, but there is only a number on each of the internal doors- no reference to the name we were looking for. If we get to go back to NY we will stay here again!

  We had a great time in your townhouse. The location was terrific for exploring Central Park and all the West Side. Rooms were clean, efficient and priced significantly below comparable hotel space. The little kitchen areas meant we could have relaxed breakfasts before heading out to explore NYC. A very good and affordable alternative to traditional hotel stays.
