This unique house is a 3 bedroom beach house with pool designed by architect, Jorge Gracia.
The house has been featured in several magazines and in the architectural books "21st Century - 150 of the World's Best" and "Architecture Now - Houses", published by Taschen in 2011.
The architecture mixes pure modernism and Mexican rustic, allowing guests to experience simple yet sophisticated comfort in a tasteful minimalist environment.
Most furnishings are custom designed and hand crafted by local artisans.
The concept behind the design is to recreate the spirit of the vacation house of the fifties and sixties, where family and friends would gather in a place without pretense or luxury to enjoy each other's company.
To that effect, the house is composed of three simple bedrooms disposed around a central living space which includes a kitchen with bar and a living room area opened to a terrace which extends and ends at the edge of the pool.
You will enjoy your daily dining, swimming, conversation or games in close intimacy with your friends or family.
The house is located a few miles north of the 'Pueblo Magico' of Todos Santos in the Las Tunas area.
The house sits in front of the beach with views on La Cachora surf break, in a peaceful and contemplative desert landscape.
From the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, Todos Santos looks towards the Pacific Ocean amongst farm crops, palm groves, mango and avocado-trees.
Besides enjoying beaches and surfing in nearby proximity, you will love strolling past colonial buildings, the mission of Nuestra Señora del Pilar, art galleries, craft shops or beautiful gardens.
Painters, sculptors, artisans, writers, intellectuals and just plain common folk, all make Todos Santos an interesting study in diversity.
Todos Santos is wonderful destination year round which offers world-class dining, fine art galleries & interesting shops plus wonderful outdoor recreational activities & beaches.
Things to do:
Sunbathe on the terrace and swim in your private pool while looking at the ocean.
Take mile long walks on the vast empty beach located right in front of the house, as you watch whales jump in and out of the sea (January to March).
Surf one of the many great surf beaches in the area or swim at the local beaches (Note: swimming in front of the house is not recommended due to strong currents).
Catch your own fish from the beach or explore the wilderness of the Baja desert.
Go horsebackriding on the beach.
Visits art galleries, dine in town at one the first class restaurants or at one of the many delicious local taco stands.
Gaze at the stars in the perfectly clear nights gently cooled by the ocean breeze.
A special place to relax and enjoy company:
Our wish is to foster interaction between guests in a relaxing environment away from modern life disturbances so we have no TV or video games.
We have a music player with a CD library of world music, jazz and other relaxing music (you can connect your ipod) and a small library with interesting books in english and french as well as cards and board games.
If you wish to watch movies, just bring your laptop and a bunch of DVDs.
We have no internet access in the house but it is easily available in town for free at several cafes so you can check your email in front of an expresso.
Todos Santos is an hour away from the La Paz airport and approximately an hour and half away from San Jose del Cabo airport.

This home was very well equiped, very comfortable, with a beautiful and peaceful setting. We enjoyed Todos Santos very much. Elena & Aaron were very helpful and available. Thanks Greg for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We hope to return again next year. The only equipment that seemed to be missing was a microwave to warm up food. Recently I spent a month here from Feb-March with a friend to go on a writing retreat and we absolutely fell in LOVE with the area and house. Everything about it was so easy and peaceful. No bugs. Crashing surf. Friendly community. Unbelievable Shrimp Tacos. Organic vegetable stands. I was so enamored with the place I invited a few friends to visit for a weekend during the month. They in turn fell in love and one of them just recently had her birthday there for a week and invited ME as the guest so I got to go back 2 times in one year. I've traveled to all the continents and nowhere is as peaceful and relaxing as Todos Santos to me. Having a dry, mountainous desert climate on the pacific ocean with empty beaches is absolutely a winning combination. The ONLY down side is that it's hard to find beaches that are safe to swim at (dangerous currents and waves) and the pools aren't heated and often kinda chilly, other than that I could imagine myself living here half the year in these houses. The host, Jennifer is so incredibly wonderful and easy to communicate with, and her on site manager Nina is very friendly and helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful rental. Not to mention, VERY reasonable prices! A must!

If you're looking to relax while on holiday, then this house is your spot. It is close enough to the amenities of Todos Santos that it's still convenient, while keeping its private character intact. We spent nearly the whole week just relaxing around the pool, reading and talking! The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are quite comfortable. The property is very well-maintained and Nina (the property manager) was available and helpful. The house also comes with a binder full of information about the surrounding area and its restaurants and attractions. It was as good as any hotel concierge! Our overall experience was fantastic, and we would certainly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Todos Santos. And anyone who is thinking about visiting Baja California Sur should be thinking TS, it's an incredibly special place, made even more special buy this beautiful property!

This is a very special place. If you are wanting something quiet and relaxing this is the place to be...there are enough luxuries to enjoy your stay without the distractions of a TV and computer. You can stock up on food etc in the town so you don't even need to leave the house, but if you do want to enjoy some nice nights out or to be surrounded by some great locals and a few tourists (not many as there are alot of day trippers from Cabo who are gone by the evenings)The surrounding beaches are great for afternoon excusions, or you can just spend the day by the pool, and watch the amazing sun set in the evening. My husband and I were lucky enough to get an unseasonably cool stay for August, so were able to enjoy the sun and pool and it was very comfortable at night with just the fan as there is no A/C....so if you struggle with the heat, make sure you do your homework as to when you stay as that could be a real vaca spoiler. On another note, even though there were some supplies to keep the mosquitos as bay, be aware that they are there, and with not alot of people around, they will hunt you down....we just got in the habit of just spraying ourselves especially when we headed into town at night...they love your ankles. The beds all have nets, so there is no prob at night. There are are good mix of restaurants in town and all price ranges. There is a guide in the house that the owners have put together with their favourites which are all good. We would recommend a medium sized rental car for your stay, as the road to the house is hard sand, so a small car you would really notice the bumps, and if you are venturing out to other beaches, the sand is on the softer side...but no need to go crazy and get a 4 wheel drive. We would definitely stay again if we were heading back for a quiet break by ourselves or with friends.

Fantastic hollidays in todos santos. We spent 2 weeks in this Casa Moderna, at the end of december, for christmas, and it was really, really great hollidays !!! we were 3 adults and 3 childrens, and everybody enjoy this house. The pool is really cool, todos santos is a great place to spend hollidays : café, restaurant, playas, whales... at this period the weather is beetween 20°C and 30°C... there is lot of beautifull beach around todos santos. Enjoy this house, and baja california !!!

we spent 2 weeks in todos santos in the modern beach house from the 15th of december untill the 1st of january and it was really wonderfull. We were 3 adults and 3 childrens, and it was really great hollidays cause the house is really cool and confortable, with the pool, near the beach... Around todos santos (Los Cerritos is 10 minutes driving), there is a lot of great beach, childrens can make morey... you can also go to the sea of Cortez, it's one hour driving and there is beautifull beach. We make snorkeling, we saw wales... The weather in Todos Santos was very cool betwen 20°C and 28°C... We came from Paris, with a conexion in Dallas, and i think we'll try to go in baja next week, and maybe in the same house, cause it was really wonderfull hollidays !!!!!!!
