This AMAZING, EXTREME LUXURY ski-in/ski-out Moonlight Mountain home has all of the amenities that you could possibly want in a ski vacation. You can put your skis on at your back door and ski to Moonlight Basin or Big Sky Resort. This four bedroom/four bath private home will give you the escape from reality that we are all looking for, yet still give you the access to over 5500 skiable acres at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort.
The layout of our home is designed to provide any family or group a tremendous amount of space and comfort... from the 3 levels of living space, to the radiant heated floors, to the professional grade stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, to the breathtaking floor to ceiling stone fireplaces, to the circular sawn fir wood floors, to the private 8 person hot tub on the deck...
Bedroom 1, on the upper level, has a twin bed, trundle, twin over queen bunk bed and private bath. Bedroom 2 is on the main floor and has a queen bed as well as views of Lone Peak. The kitchen, dining area, and living room with wood burning fireplace, another full bath, along with amazing views, are all on the main level of the home. The master bedroom and bathroom are on the lower level that walks out to skiing and beautiful views. There is a private jetted hot tub and radiant heated tile floors in the master bathroom. Also downstairs is the 4th bedroom with 2 twin beds and its own private bath.
Big Sky and Moonlight Basin just combined their ski terrain in 2006 to form the largest skiable terrain in North America with more than 5500 acres of skiing. If you have never been to Big Sky, but you love to ski, now is your chance to take a trip like never before. Lift lines are basically non-existent and it is not unusual to ski 3 miles without seeing another person. The runs are wide and magical or if you prefer extreme skiing, Big Sky and Moonlight Basin offer some of the steepest of the steeps.
Summer is the icing on the cake. Just outside your door you can spot deer, moose, elk, and lots of other wildlife. The Gallatin River, featured in the movie "A River Runs Through It", runs through Big Sky and offers some of the best blue-ribbon fishing in North America. As you walk around, whether winter or summer you will not believe how truly breathtaking every moment will be. This townhouse will provide the cozy, warm, comforting escape from reality that we are all looking for.

Whoever coined the term "Treasure State" must have been in, around, and under the gorgeous canopy of Big Sky! The September weather was perfect -- and allowed us to enjoy the best the area has to offer -- a guided tour of Yellowstone is an absolute must! The view from the great room and deck is amazing -- brilliant morning colors and endless evening stars -- a true slice of (Cowboy) Heaven!

We stayed at the house with 2 other families at Spring Break. The house is great. It's well decorated, super clean, recently built and comfortable. There are luxurious extras like an enclosed loft (rather than open to the great room below like many), a top-of-the-line hot tub, trash and snow shoveling sevices and a well stocked kitchen with all you need for cooking for many guests. It is truly ski in and ski out to Moonlight Basin or Big Sky. We had great snow even into April. The ski school was awesome; my kids had a blast. We will return!

We all had a ball at your place in Moonlight Basin. The best kept secret among ski resorts! The house has a great floorplan, lovely interior, well-stocked spice cabinet and the most incredible mountain view. We hope we can come back again sometime. Thank you for a great way to bring in the New Year.

Perfect ski in/out home on the best snow in the U.S. Separate bedrooms with private bathrooms provide plenty of privacy while the kitchen/living area is a great place to gather. The hot tub is perfectly situated to enjoy the snow and mountains. I would rent this property again! Moonlight Basin is awesome.

A fantastic house, so very well appointed, great space for 4 adults and 4 late teens/early 20's pre Christmas vacation. Very comfortable - and was VERY cold while we were there. Love it and would definitely use again if possible.

This house was perfect for 2 families with 4 children total. Plenty of space, the house is well stocked - we cooked most meals there - and the view is postcard perfect. Ski in and out, chill in the hot tub, or read by the fire. We hope to get back soon!

We have rented the Babb's home at 13/44 Cowboy Heaven three times and it only gets better. We have had two family's of 4 twice and it offers plenty of room. The ski in and out cannot be beat anywhere and the view is spectacular.

We were lucky enough to spend a week in July 2008 at the Babbs'. The home is exceptionally well- equipped and furnished and decorated so beautifully. Every bedroom is exquisite and the kitchen and living spaces are just top-rate. The drive in and out of Cowboy Heaven is breathtaking! Big Sky village makes it easy to do things close by, and the home is also located within easy reach of all the things you want to do in Montana. Our 13 and 14 year old kids had a blast horsebacking riding. flyfishing, whitewater rafting, and seeing such sights as Yellowstone and Virginia City (out by Ennis.) Thank you for a great week!
