What a wonderful place !! Just cannot say enought good things about it !! The home is super clean and kept incredibly comfy, spacious, and beautiful. All furnishings are wonderfully comfortable. The view is so very gorgeous, and with the windows, never ending. Access to the ocean, watching the Ferries is excellent. The property is very well kept, and I felt like I was in my own personal park !! Very private, and very good area for walking. Great access to the Victoria Airport, and other amenities. I was there with a goup of friends, and am anxious to take my husband and family there..........with certainty they will love it !!

What a wonderful Retreat! I could not have asked for more. This is a place to get away and relax or to see and do as much or as little as you like. Although we were close to the airport, the ferry terminal and bus transportation I would advise a car to get around. We took advantage of the Ferry to Salt Springs and had a wonderful day visit. The Express bus took us directly to Victoria with minimum stops along the way (be sure to have the exact change for the bus). There is a wonderful little pub called Stonehouse Pub located east of the terminal. Nice place to relax and have a little brew and some dinner. This home is emaculate and provides all the essentials any home could possibly need. The landscape provides a balance of nature's palate and beauty all at the same time. The front side of this home is forested and the back has a porch high above the water's edge with entertainment just off shore. We saw a family of sea otters in the water daily and one even popped into the backyard with a fish in its mouth. One morning while having our coffee a bald eagle landed in the large government protected tree in the backyard. What a sight and quite a picture to share back home. The little town of Sydney that is close by is charming. There are some wonderful bakeries along the main street and a meandering walking path along the waters edge. In Sydney, we found the best fish and chips restaurant. It is definitely off the beaten track and nestled in-between homes on maybe 5th or 7th street running north of Sydney's main street and down away from town. I highly recommend looking for this restaurant if you have the time. I know you won't be disappointed if you like fish and chips. I sure wasn't. Yes, this is a wonderful retreat for friends and family. You will form bonds and memories for years to come while sitting on the porch watching the boats, ferries and wildlife move past you. Would I go back? You bet!

9 of stayed very comfortably in this lovely home to celebrate mom's 80th birthday. It was a great gathering spot - lots of room for each of us; the location was perfect, the property was peaceful and scenic, the view fascinating and we had all the comforts of home. The kitchen had everything we needed+. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, or to stay here again.
